Shannon was out this night but what a fill in I had. Miss Rhonda Vincent was fantastic! We played all our favorites, many many stories, lots of request from the chat room and Rhonda even did a LIVE tribute to “the Possum” George Jones. This is GREAT show! This is slowly but surely becoming a BIG part of life for us. We look forward to every show like it’s the first one. This is the first show with the new name “Radio ReHab”.   We like it and it’s going to stick! All of you that listen makes this show what it is, which is FUN FUN FUN!!! This is also the first time I have put it in podcast form, hence why all the music is stripped out of it but that is all. Everything else is as it happened. This is the way radio should be I tell ya. William Lee Golden! WOW what a honor it was to be able to go to his home and talk. William is so gracious and made me feel like I was welcome there anytime. This is a guy that has had a career many dream of. A Oak Ridge Boy since 1965 and you won’t believe all the different people he has sang with and for. He is a awesome painter and lots of his art is around the house and really good stuff. We talk about everything in music, the plantation that he calls his home, I even ask him about his beard and if he IS a mountain man. You are NOT gonna want to miss this show friends. I have been saving it for after the holidays and such cause I did not want you to miss it.  So here is to a wonderful Man, a wonderful Family and a wonderful career!

Oh Yeah Baby! It’s Phil Vassar. Everybody loves Phil! What a talent he is too. Songwriter, piano player, singer and incredible personality. Him and I talked about doing this podcast at least a year before we finally got our schedules together and what a great time we had just talking about the music biz and life. Phil invited me out to his house one afternoon and he said just buzz me at the gate and I will let you in! The place was beautiful and when I got out of the car all I heard was hammers banging and saws rockin’ and rolling and then a big “Dana, What’s Happening Man?” Phil at the front door ready to rock.  He showed me around the house and what all he was doing to the place, restoring  and yard work. Seemed like it was the place to be if you want to WORK. As you hear him say at the end of the podcast, ” It’s great but a lot of work”

Well yes I am having a wonderful summer and real busy but I have a great treat for you. Back when it was cold everywhere, I had Miss Suzanne Alexander over to the house and we talk about it all. As host of many shows on GAC (Great American Country) you can only imagine the stories and music she has to share. Suzanne has worked on both sides of the music industry and has been our girl that we all want to see and hear on GAC for several years now. We have done many shows and interviews with her over the years and in this show I get my chance to hear all about her career and boy has it been a whirl wind. I want you all to grab that volume control, yes you know what do! TURN IT UP! and the next time you see Suzanne on TV you will know a little more about her. Do you have that Diet Coke?  Ready,GO……

Well friends this show is one you will not forget. None other than Mr. Neal McCoy is my guest and what a guest he is. We have been friends for a good while and he has got to be one of the best people you could ever meet. One of or the best Entertainer out there on the road. We have had the pleasure of doing many shows with him and he is one guy another act does NOT want to follow. Neal was here in Nashville to do the   Grand Ole Opry and I went over to his bus early that day and we had a big time. I just happen to bring my recorder and you guys get to hear the whole thing, Go Figure! Hear what he has been doing and what he is about to do and let me tell you it is all good news for us Neal McCoy (Country Music) lovers. Go get a Diet Coke, turn it up and relax. You are going to like this one.
