In the world of menswear, the focus is often on the designer, the tailor, the cutter, but very rarely do we think about it from the view of an artist, today that is what we do when we talk with renowned menswear artist Matt Miller aka Sunflowerman. He grew up in Michigan and from an early age was drawn to art. This attraction led him to art school, but the constraints of art school did not sit well with him and he soon parted ways with institutional education to strike out on his own path.
It was that path that fueled his passion for capturing a new perspective of menswear. And it wouldn't take long before his perspective of menswear, men's style and accessories would find an audience in the more sartorial world. That audience has lead to him being commissioned by major brands and publications to help them express and artistic vision of their work.
