Quarantine Playlist
In this bonus episode, The Dark Corner Podcast presents a quarantine playlist. That is, DJ Evil Dave compiles ten select tracks. Meanwhile, each track reflects some aspect of the coronavirus, COVID-19. That is, Dave chooses tracks according to their content and tone.
Down with the Sickness
First, Dave admits that he has contracted the virus. Afterward, he lists each symptom in turn. For instance, he describes fever, aches, and shortness of breath. Additionally, he explains his reasoning behind creating a themed playlist. For instance, he runs across similar playlists on social media. Also, he approaches music as a form of therapy.

Primarily, Dave offers a host of angry songs. mostly, the artists create Electronic Body Music. However, a couple of gothic bands fill out the roster. First, Pouppée Fabrikk performs Symptoms (Disease Mix) from Matrix Downloaded 001. Dave mistakingly states the band calls Belgium home. Instead, they come from Sweden.
Following, from Halotan Records Sampler 03, we present Solitude (Halotan Version) by Black Canvas. Afterward, Damsel in the Dollhouse offers Fever Dream from Provocateur. Damsel in the Dollhouse calls Montana home. Also, Sturmreaktor plays Human Disease from the Fallout EP. The Fallout video game inspired the title track of this EP.
Forming the linchpin of the playlist, Mundtot performs Virus Mensch from the Endzeit EP. Following, A.E.C. offers Pain from the Sex.Drugs.Sequence. DJ Promo. Additionally, So Sick features as a song by 1919 from the Revenge EP. 1919 plays a raucous style of post punk.
_TV_ performs Infected from DKAY. Furthermore, we present I Can’t Breathe by VTG from Dance Floor Game. We interviewed Lawrence of VTG back in the InsideOutcast days. Finally, we play Pandemic by Escarlatina Obsessiva from Endemic.
