The Tarot: II High Priestess
Mainly, we discuss the second card in the Tarot, II High Priestess. That is, we describe the meaning behind the symbology on the card. For instance, we address the feminine power of the card. For example, pomegranates represent female sexuality while the card itself relates to the Zodiac sign, Virgo. Meanwhile, three phases of the moon refer to the triple goddess. The triple goddess consists of the maiden, the mother, and the crone.
Additionally, we show how the card relates to occult knowledge. For instance, the Torah sits on the lap of a female figure. Additionally, a curtain conceals what may exist behind the figure. Also, a cross on the priestess’ chest suggests the intersection of heaven and earth. Meanwhile, two pillars suggest the duality between the known and the unknown.
Finally, we explain the numerology of the card. That is, we show how it relates to the number 2, XI, and XX cards of the minor and major arcana respectively. Also, we show how the II High Priestess card applies to pop culture.
