The Dark Mark Show

In another Pride Month classic from 2022 legendary drag queen and host of the talk show Amber Live! Amber LeMay joined Mark and Nicole for a fun and flirty show,

Amber was zooming from Vermont and had lots of positive things to say about the state, from its lush scenery to its "live and let live" attitude (though it seems to be behind on its marijuana laws. She described growing up as a gay man in Ohio as not exactly as Glee depicted and Oprah Winfrey gets some credit in how she came out to her parents. She talked about founding the drag troupe House of LeMay who came directly from the "Hot Damn Trailer Park", raising money for many worthy charities (which included repelling down a 9 story building !), and starting Amber Live! which has given her the nickname "The Larry King of Drag" and given her the opportunity to interview several cast members of the Sopranos, Hal Sparks who showed Amber his thong and none other than Tiger King's Carol Baskin!

Amber also flirted with Mark and reiterated that there is nothing "straight" about her

Mark and Hannah welcomed comedian and author Aidan Park to the lighter side of the dark side. Aidan talked about growing up working in a video store in South Korea where he discovered a love of musical theater by watching Sister Act, how he had a tough time when he went to the USA as a chubby child who did not speak english, having to find work on (ahem) Craigslist, and experiencing truly hard times but through hard work, studying NLP, and a change in attitude became the star of Jeremy Lin The Musical, the YouTube show my life on the F List and a top stand up comedian producing one of Hollywood's top LGBTQIA+ showcases Rainbow Pop, falling in love and writing his new book The Art of Being Yay! complete with a forward by Margaret Cho. This is truly a funny, emotional and inspiring show.

The Dark Mark Show continues its celebration of pride month by replaying 3 year Anniversary show from 2016which was quite a fiery one with special guests singer/actress/poet Otep Shamaya of the metal band Otep and fire performer Arabian MK.

Otep talked about her extraordinary career and her album Generation Doom and let MK light her on fire.

We are celebrating pride month all month long and our first classic was taped 7 years ago today with trans comedian and activist Jamie Gendron who dominated Kinky Jesus in one of our most popular shows

Comedian Jamie Gendron indulged her naughty side and reminisced about her dominatrix past as she met a willing slave in Kinky Jesus on the show this week.
Jamie had all sorts of stories about being a dominatrix in New Orleans and Hollywood and how lucrative and naughty that can be. You will never look at a dog’s chew toy quite the same again. Kinky Jesus had his own stories about being a sub for many years and you won’t believe how he got the name Kinky Jesus. Nails are involved. The conversation was only cut short so Jamie and Kinky Jesus can do their own scene complete with slapping, nail coverings, handcuffs, hard nipple twists and flogging with a belt that had bullets attached.

If you are looking for a glamour photo shoot Kinky Jesus has a great eye and does terrific work. Go to www.FetishPhotoPro.com  to see his work and book a session.

Alex Grass the master of horror and weird fiction is at it again. He has a new book out called Infernal Tramps and it is a worthy addition to his strange and macabre bibliography

In ancticipation of checkin out this new tome we replay Alex's apprearance on The Dark Mark Show in 2021

Alex talked about his upbringing which took him from Pennsylvania to Israel, where he witnessed bombs dropping, and after some bad Shwarma, may have dropped some bombs of his own, how he worked on motorcycles, got tattoos, boxed and was the lead singer of the thrash metal band Shock Syndrome subverting the stereotype of the nebbishy jewish man,. He was kicked out of high school only to get his GED, College Degree and be oh so close to graduating law school when he dropped out to start writing his Lovecraftian novels Dreck and Black River Lantern which ponders magic and multiple dimensions in a carnival setting.

Yes, everyone discusses why clowns are so scary as well...

It is former Dark Mark Show cohost Josi Kat's birthday and to celebrate we are replaying her birthday show from 2014.

It was Josi's birthday and Mark threw quite a party with a typically eclectic guest list. Actor/Model/Photogapher Eli Brooks talked about being in a Piss Ant video and brought Saariyah Syn who bellydanced for Josi. The fabulous Sasha Scarlett sang a sexy happy birthday song for Josi which entranced everybody, not the least of which Goth Republican Blogger Joseph Fein. Terrie Huberman gave Josi a "Water" psychic reading and former Piss Ant drummer Chuck Sapien recounted stories of being on the road with Josi. Nestor Rodriguez and Simon Kaufman did a freestyle rap inspired by the birthday girl and to top it off Orpheus Black demonstrated the art of rope play and everyone took turns giving a tied up Josi a birthday spanking.

It is Dani Danger's birthday. In honor of this occasion we are replaying her very first (of many) appearances on The Dark Mark Show all the way back in 2013! This is the show where this podcast really found its unique voice and style.

There was some Danger in this show...Dani Danger! The extreme sideshow performer/superhero showed off her body modifications to Dark Mark and Josi Kat which include antenna and Vulcan ears and has some fun with a taser and her nipples. Also in the studio was writer/cartoonist Dave Shelton who talked about creating Eye Crusties candy, his new children's show "Professor Creepy" and working at National Lampoon. As always this insanity is punctuated by a Spank Train and is brought to you by Fatal Impact.

Today is Gary Garver's birthday. He is of course best known as the reporter for the Howard Stern Show and for his long running radio show Controlled Chaos. He is also responsible for The Dark Mark Show actually existing. So we are rebroadcasting the very 3rd DMS from way back in 2013 featuring him and eventual DMS cohost Josi Kat.

Controlled Chaos is an understatement for this show!

For the 13th (!) Anniversary of The Dark Mark Show we turn back the clock to 2013 and replay the very first show.

In his premiere episode Dark Mark shares some absinthe with his guests and watches the mayhem ensue. News Anchor/Activist Bree Walker gives her wildest interview ever as she reminisces about interviewing Sid Vicious and Mick Jagger as well as being a sexy "Puma". Her BFF comedian Susan McIntosh brings her New York attitude and very unusual "green" hat. Magician Michael Vile of A&E Freakshow literally pulls smoke rings out of the air and makes objects spontaneously appear
