In this episode, I’m getting real about what it means to not quit on yourself, especially when your body isn’t moving the way it used to. I’ve been working through fascia tears, tight hips, and a lot of stiffness, but I’m committed to my health for the long run. I talk about the physical therapy I’m returning to, how I’m adapting my workouts for longevity, and the way I’ve shifted my eating habits over the past year to match my life and goals.
I also open up about the deeper message behind Your Level Fitness and what the YLF community really stands for. This isn’t about chasing a number or reshaping your body to finally feel good about yourself. This is about meeting yourself where you are, appreciating who you are now, and building from the inside out.
We cover mobility, mental health, men’s emotional awareness, the role of AI in content creation, and the shift toward making content that fits your life instead of just chasing algorithms. You’ll also hear how I’m doubling down on content and recommitting to being exactly where I need to be. Because I’m not giving up. Ever.

In this episode, I talk about the importance of truly knowing and working within your comfort zone before you even think about pushing past it. I also share thoughts around Mental Health Awareness Month and why simply posting about it is not enough. We need real conversations. We need to humanize these experiences through storytelling and shared connection. Especially for men, breaking the stigma starts by allowing ourselves to feel and express emotions without judgment.
This episode challenges you to evaluate your mental and emotional health and create space for kind, compassionate conversations... starting with yourself.

In this episode, I’m talking about how to look at your past without getting stuck in it. We go deep into why observation, not judgment, is the most helpful way to reflect on where you’ve been, how you got here, and where you’re going next. I share how nostalgia, old patterns, and labels can hold us back if we let them define us, and I walk through how evolving from the inside/out helps you build calmness and direction in your life.
If you’ve ever looked back and wondered how you became the person you are today, or if you’re trying to figure out your next steps, this one is for you. Your past doesn’t define you, but it can guide you if you let it.

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m sharing a real-time reflection about the power of not giving up. This is a story about a tough day dealing with lingering injuries, making adjustments, and choosing to keep going. It’s not about pushing through at all costs. It’s about knowing your limits, honoring what your body is telling you, and trying again when it feels right.
This isn’t just a health update. It’s a mindset check. I talk about how I’ve come to a place where the default is not quitting, even when I think about it. I also share where this podcast is headed, how it’s returning to its roots as my audio journal, and why I’ll be sharing these episodes more frequently but without a rigid schedule. I’ll continue to point you toward the inside/out tools, but this space is going to stay raw, real, and flexible.
If you’ve ever had a day where you felt like stopping but found the strength to try again, this one’s for you.

In this episode, I talk about something we all need to remember, especially when life feels overwhelming… your life is your responsibility. That doesn’t mean you control everything. In fact, most of what happens in life is outside your control. But what is in your control still matters—and it’s often the key to getting unstuck and regaining hope.
I walk you through how focusing on your actions, rather than worrying about uncontrollable outcomes, creates momentum. I talk about how empowering it is to shift your attention toward what you can influence directly. That’s where confidence grows. That’s where clarity starts. And when that happens, you move from helplessness to hope.
We’ve all been through seasons that felt hopeless. But looking back, you made it through. This episode is a reminder that even when things feel like too much, there’s always something within your control… and that’s where your power lives. Let’s talk about it.

It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time for a midweek adjustment. In this episode, I walk you through the process of checking in on your weekly goals, looking at how the first half of your week has gone, and seeing if any changes are needed. This isn’t about starting over. It’s about taking a thoughtful pause so you can keep moving forward without burning out.
Midweek adjustments become powerful when you build your weekly goals around what you can confidently follow through on. Over time, it’s not about perfection but about steady progress and self-awareness. And sometimes, that means realizing that you’re doing just fine and just need to keep going.
This podcast isn’t only about fitness. It’s about building self-trust, staying in tune with your process, and creating the life you want from the inside/out. So take a few minutes today to check in with yourself. And if you want to talk more about it, shoot me an email at [email protected].

Episode Description
If you know what you want out of life but have been holding back because of fear, responsibility, or a need for certainty, this episode is for you. I talk about what it means to be an outlier, someone who decides to take action despite all the reasons not to. You don’t need permission, you don’t need a perfect plan, and you don’t need everyone’s approval. You just need to decide to start. In this episode, I share how follow through comes from simply showing up over and over, and how most people rationalize themselves into a life they don’t want. You don’t have to be one of them.

In this episode, I share some exciting updates about the YLF Framework and how it’s expanding beyond just health and fitness. This framework started as a resource to help with goal setting and progress tracking around weight loss, but it’s grown into something much bigger. It now includes a structure for building an inside/out life, helping you work on your mental and emotional health too. I talk about how you can use this structure to exceed your goals, reflect weekly, and apply this to every area of life—not just fitness.
I also explain how feedback from the YLF community has helped shape the tools and resources I’m putting out, and why your input is essential to keeping the framework useful and relevant. This is a collaborative process, and I’d love to hear how it’s working for you or how it could be improved.

Episode Description:
In this episode, I share my personal thoughts and experiences around therapy and why I believe it's the foundation of mental and emotional health. Whether you're working through something deep or just trying to better understand yourself, therapy provides a space that no podcast, self-help book, or Instagram post can replace.
I talk about the misconceptions I had before starting therapy, the turning points that changed my mind, and how it's now a non-negotiable part of the inside/out process I believe in. If you're serious about growth, therapy belongs in your toolkit.

Episode Description
It’s Sunday, which means we’re looking ahead and setting goals for the upcoming week. In this episode, I walk you through the weekly goal setting structure I use and teach, one that’s built to help you exceed your goals instead of barely hitting them. This isn’t about setting stretch goals just to fall short. It’s about building confidence and consistency with goals that are realistic, flexible, and forward-moving.
If you’re new to this, start with one goal. One thing you can commit to doing a certain number of times this week. Make it achievable but also meaningful. I’ll share how I use this approach with the six minimum daily actions and how it helps me stay consistent even when life gets unpredictable. This is about getting better at planning and adjusting with intention.
The full YLF system of tools, including the 31-day tracker, self-paced blog resources, and The YLF Experience coaching program, are all linked below. If you’re ready to start building your goals around your actual life, not someone else’s idea of what you should do, this is where to start.
