    Episode Description
In this Saturday episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m walking you through the process of reflecting on your week with purpose and setting yourself up for the next one. This is all about building your life from the inside/out using simple, consistent practices. I guide you through how to evaluate your past week with a no-judgment approach, using your results to help you fine-tune your goals for the week ahead.

We talk through the six minimum daily actions that serve as the foundation for the inside/out approach. Four are about your relationship with yourself, including positive self-talk, disconnected time, journaling, and creative pursuits. The other two focus on fitness basics like eating produce and getting in daily movement. These aren’t rigid rules, they’re adaptable starting points you can build on as your routines grow.

This is one of our more tactical check-in episodes, part of a weekly rhythm that includes reflection, planning, and midweek adjustments. Whether you're brand new or you’ve been listening for a while, this is a great place to ground yourself and continue moving forward.

    Episode Description
In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m sharing something that hits a lot of us deeper than we realize. There’s a push to be the lone wolf, to be the person who handles everything without help. While self-reliance and time alone are essential for growth, that’s only part of the story. The truth is, we also need real connection. Not the surface-level kind, but meaningful relationships that give our accomplishments and daily life deeper fulfillment.

Being strong isn’t about isolating yourself, it’s about being comfortable in your own mind while still letting others in. Today’s episode is a reminder that you can do both. You can be self-sufficient and still reach out. You can think deeply and still show up for connection. If you’ve been feeling disconnected or pushing people away in the name of strength, this one’s for you.

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m offering a reminder that your life, in all its complexity, is your responsibility. That includes the patterns you repeat without even noticing—the blind spots that hold you back. Therapy can be a powerful tool to help reveal those patterns, especially when you’re working with someone who can call them out gently but effectively. But even outside of therapy, there are ways to start spotting these things for yourself.

We talk about how your social circles can unintentionally reinforce your blind spots, how the internet can trap you into a narrow point of view, and why reconnecting with yourself is the most important step in cutting through the noise. This is about awareness, responsibility, and building a life from the inside/out. If you're ready to step back, take an honest look, and grow with intention, this episode is for you.

    Episode Description
In this midweek check-in episode, I’m walking you through how to evaluate the progress you’ve made so far and decide if any adjustments are needed. If your week is going well, then keep riding that wave. But if things haven’t gone quite as planned, this is your opportunity to step back, look at how your goals were set, and shift your strategy. You don’t need to follow every plan to the letter. This is about building the skill of adapting while staying focused on your long-term direction. It’s not failure to pivot. It’s actually one of the strongest mindset tools you can build.

Whether you’re crushing it or recalibrating, what matters is your willingness to stay in the process. This is the kind of thinking that helps you live from the inside/out. Keep showing up for yourself, however that looks today.

    Episode Description:

In this episode, I open up about sharing more of my day-to-day fitness journey with cerebral palsy. From daily walk-in videos to clips of my workouts, I'm documenting my progress in a way that not only tracks physical change, but also reflects the work I’ve done around body image and self-confidence.

I talk about how difficult it used to be to show my full body on camera, let alone share how I walk. I’ve been leaning into this discomfort and using content as a way to tell my story—not to fit in, but to stand out. I also get into something new I’ve been doing: writing messages on coffee cups as part of my “Caffeine with Compassion” project. What started as a deeply personal struggle with handwriting as a kid has turned into something I now proudly share.

This episode is a reminder that the things we’ve hidden away can become the things that make us most powerful. By sharing them, we take back control and connect with others who may be going through the same thing.

In this bonus episode, I’m introducing the Mental Health Awareness Month Collection on ShopYLF.com. This first wave includes designs featuring quotes that reflect different aspects of mental and emotional health. The goal is to not only spread awareness but to humanize it by giving it a face. Whether you connect with therapy, journaling, disconnecting from tech, or self-talk, I want you to wear what speaks to you.

Too often, we scroll past posts about mental health and forget them. This collection helps us bring those important messages into everyday life. Every item has been tested for quality and is offered at a fair price. More designs will be added throughout May, and after that, this collection will be retired until next year. But the message doesn’t stop when the month ends. Let’s show up for ourselves and others year-round.

In this episode of The Daryl Perry Podcast, I’m talking directly to the guys. We were never really taught how to express emotions, and for many of us, vulnerability feels unnatural or unsafe. But I want you to know it's okay to feel. It's okay to speak. And it’s not just okay… it’s necessary.

I open up about my own journey in identifying my emotions and learning how to express them. It hasn’t been easy, and maybe you’ve been in that same place—surrounded by people who don’t know how to receive vulnerability. That’s why I’m encouraging you to start by building a connection with yourself. Sit with your thoughts. Practice mindfulness. Use journaling, affirmations, and creativity to explore what’s really going on inside.

But I’ll also tell you that therapy is the ultimate game-changer. Not every therapist will be a great fit, but finding the right one can help you untangle so much of the heaviness you’ve been carrying. And if you’re in relationships where you can’t express yourself safely, it might be time to rethink who’s in your support circle.

If you’ve felt stuck, unseen, or like your emotions don’t matter, this one’s for you. I see you. And I promise, this work is worth it.
