Premier League seasons can be memorable for a multitude of reasons – but there’s nothing sweeter than seeing your team rampage across all that come before them and secure the most points in a Premier League season.
Only one team in English top-flight history has surpassed 100 points in a season, but plenty of others have put up a stack of points over the course of a Premier League season so we’ve gone through the history book and looked back at the data to bring you the best stories from those amazing seasons.

Listen to our Euro 2020 review podcast where, after a 12 month wait, Italy completed a remarkable turnaround in form and fortune to secure their second European Championship crown.
We review the key moments from Euro 2020, including England's run to a first major international final in 55 years as Harry Kane moved equal with Gary Lineker for most goals for the Three Lions in a major tournament.
The group stage of the tournament saw plenty of other records broken - we dive into the history books to bring context to Euro 2020 and see where it is judged.

In part five of our 'History of the European Championship' series, we focus on the 2010s when possession became the pathway to success.
This was showcased best by Spain in 2012 as they became the first nation to win consecutive European Championships with a 4-0 thumping of Italy in the final.

In part four of our 'History of the European Championship' series, we turn our attentions to the 2000s and the era of goals as each of the three tournaments that took place during this decade rank in the top four for goals-per-game.
A golden goal was needed in the 2000 event to separate the finalists as France secured back-to-back Euro and World Cup triumphs, although four years later it would be surprise package Greece celebrating.
But the 2008 European Championship would see the start of Spain's dominance of the beautiful game, as we find out in this podcast.

In part three of our 'History of the European Championship' series, we turn our attentions to the 1990s where the tournament saw the unlikeliest of victors and changes in the laws of football.
Denmark were not even supposed to be at the 1992 event but having been brought in as a late replacement for Yugoslavia, they would knock out reigning champions the Netherlands in the semi-finals before triumphing over reigning World Cup winners German in the final.
Germany would be victors four years later at the tournament where it looked like football would be coming home as hosts England went on a run to the semi-finals - listen as we look back on an incredible two tournaments.
