Premier Will Hodgman told Dave & Al the Hobart CIty Deal announced last week with the Prime Minister is a certainty.

He was responding to speculation it was all smoke and mirrors because no funding was attached.

As a part of the deal, light rail in Hobart will become a reality from Macquarie Point to Bridgewater.
