After one of the Chargers Women's import players did an ACL before she arrived in Australia the team needed to locate a new player fast.

This morning coach Dwain Davie gave Dave & Al a scoop about the identity of the replacement.

With the start of the TSL season AFL Tasmania CEO Rob Auld visited the Dave Noonan Show to talk about footy in Tassie in 2017.

Dave grilled Rob about the structure of the TSL and whether we will ever get our own AFL team.

Tasmania's Sam Walker won GOLD in Sydney in the U16 para 100m, where the T38 athlete also broke the national record.

The 2017 Tour de Cure Signature Tour from Hotham to Hobart has rolled into Tassie and while challenging, it's highly inspirational 

From Friday 24 March to Saturday 1 April, the 2017 Signature Tour covers 1,270kms through stunning regional Victoria, over Bass Strait and now into Tassie riding down the east coast to the finishing line in Hobart this weekend.

Within this group are 10 team members from Tassie and The Dave Noonan Show spoke with Dan Bell about the ride which has raised over $1.5 million so far.

Although Cyclone Debbie has been downgraded to tropical low it is still delivering damaging winds and heavy rain so we checked in with Triple M Mackay's Jay Shiptson on the latest.

Meanwhile Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says residents should brace for “shock and awe” as the damage from Cyclone Debbie becomes apparent for the first time at daylight today.
