Obedience to the call of God will always result in persecution; but if we have our hope anchored in the coming victory of Christ, we can remain strong and bold in the midst of that persecution. We also learn that it's our responsibility to speak the whole truth to this lost and broken world, knowing that God has commanded us to speak and not diminish a single word of the truth.
