In 2010, Michel Carroll was killed in the seaside suburb of Wamberal NSW, by her partner Steven Hill. For Michel's son Liam it meant not only trying to put his life back together after having his mother and his home taken from him. but also signalled the start of a battle he would have to fight for years.
