Have you ever faced a feeling, situation or craving that’s bugging you? For most, that answer is yes.
So often, what we go through feels like it will last forever. In reality, this isn’t the case.
In this show, Ty talks on a simple saying to help accept the situation for what it is and begin working towards a solution: This too shall pass.
Welcome to another episode!
This week, Ty talks about embracing discomfort or facing what we don’t want to face. Whether it’s a rainy day, a workout, a project or the opinions of others, we shelter ourselves from discomfort naturally. Facing discomfort with confidence unlocks your personal power.

When faced with a struggle, we have this tendency to doubt our abilities; we defeat ourselves before we even start. When we cower from stress, this is what’s called the victim mentality - helpless, hopeless and scared. This weeks podcast covers how to change from a victim mindset to a champion mindset.
Spoiler alert: self-confidence changes everything.
This week, I sit down with one of my best friends, Malick Ba.
Malick is one of my favourite people to have in my corner because of his drive. No matter the struggle, he buckles down, does the work and moves on. Check out his website, themadmix.com - a platform for student marketers to have a voice on the things going on around us. Check it out!
This is a great conversation and one which I can’t wait to have again. I hope you enjoy!
Here we are! Our second official interview AND intro/outro music. Momma, we made it.
I’m so grateful to be able to introduce you to one of my long time friends, JBlaq. As a musician, JBlaq knows the ups and downs of the grind. As this podcast shows, no matter what walk of life you come from or the path you’ve chosen, there are some universal lessons we all must learn to grow. Two of the biggest lessons: be yourself and have faith.
Check out his social media (@thejblaq on IG) and check out his work! His music is available on all major platforms!
I hope you enjoy this podcast half as much as I had making it. This is a must-listen.
After the podcast, check out the rest thedeclarationonline.com has to offer, including other podcasts, blog posts and coaching.

Hello and welcome back! It feels like forever since we last talked (literally two weeks but who’s counting?).
And what a crazy two weeks it’s been. Moving to Vancouver and setting up life here has been an amazing, stressful ride. On this Thanksgiving Monday, I’m thankful that I can finally settle in and get back on a routine.
This week, the podcast explores a simple strategy to stop your self-doubts in their tracks. It’s usually not the strongest or most persistent who have mental stability, but the ones who ask the best questions.
On this episode, you’ll learn a question that helps you to leave the past in the past, check the source of your message, and give you a strong foundation from which to use the other strategies taught on this site thus far.
As always, have a great week and thanks for listening!
(Side note - didn’t double check which microphone was recording and didn’t use my podcast mic! Sorry for any quality issues!)
When the chips are down, it’s crunch time and it’s you vs. your mind, who wins?
Too often, that answer is our minds - our doubts, our excuses or our self-pity.
Well, enough is enough, because YOU are ENOUGH. Something amazing happens when we start to believe in ourselves. We push a little harder. We care a little more. We step our game up.
This week, Ty discusses the idea of self-confidence and why it could be the key to overcoming the struggle you currently face.
As always, if you want somebody to talk to about your struggle, head on over to thedeclarationonline.com and check out our one-on-one section. The first session is free, and the following prices are on a sliding scale depending on your situation.
Have a wonderful week!
