• Pray that God will continue to strengthen local believers and specifically strengthen the faith of persecuted believers.
• Pray for relations between the United States and Pakistan.
• Pray for wisdom for developing hope as they make decisions in helping guide the work of unadopted in Pakistan
• Pray for S and U, directors in country.
• Pray for the Muslim community that surrounds the girls’ home. Pray that they will see the light and truth of Christ through these girls and the staff at the home.
• Pray that the girls’ family members would come to know Christ.
• PRAISE – Construction is underway on the new girls’ home (and space for offices/sewing center/church)!! Pray that this process goes smoothly and that many would want to walk alongside to help fund the project.

• Pray that they willcome to know the Lord and His redeeming love.
• That God will open their eyes to see that they and their children are made in the image of God and are thus valuable.
• God will lead women to choose life for the baby and that they will consider adoption
• Pray that women will reach out so that we will have the opportunity to share the gospel with them.
• Pray for hospitals, OBGYNs, and pediatricians to desire to partner with Lifeline and see the value in utilizing an agency like Lifeline
• Praise for the many Pregnancy Center (PRC)partnerships we have and pray for the Lord to deepen existing relationships and to establish new partnerships with new PRCs
• Pray for the Lord to direct women searching for adoption resources online to Lifeline
• Pray for Him to use their earthly adoption stories to show them the good news of eternal adoption – for God’s Kingdom to come in their hearts and lives – for them to know, glorify and enjoy Jesus.
• Pray specifically for Rachel who placed her baby with a family but is unsure if the adoption will happen from a legal standpoint. Pray for peace for Rachel and the family.
• Praise the Lord for our pregnancy counseling team! 
  • Pray for their relationships with the Lord and reliance upon the Holy Spirit to be primary in their daily lives so that what is needed for each birth parent would come as an outflow of the Spirit’s work.
  • Pray that God would grow them in wisdom, compassion, and boldness, pointing birth parents to Christ.
  • Pray for times of rest
• Praise the Lord for the women who are choosing life and for the perspective the Lord has given them to see life as valuable.

• Pray for a family pursuing their 3rdadoption from Ukraine!  They are adopting an aging out child who they have hosted. Praise the Lord for families who have a heart for older children.
• Pray for a tricky situation with an expat family who was asked to adopt a little girl from an Ukrainian orphanage!
• Pray for more families who desire to adopt older children from such a hard and harsh place.
• Continue to pray for the government of Ukraineand for unrest in the Eastern part of Ukraine.  Pray that the areas that have been affected by war will continue to rebuild.
• Pray for the Ministryand the officials to be efficient and timely in approving paperwork.  Pray that they will make orphan children a priority.
• Pray for UnAdopted possibilities in Ukraine!Pray for the work that has been done and that is going to be done.
• Pray for a future hosting from Ukraine!  Pray that we can collaborate with hosting organization to bring children into their forever families – where they will constantly hear and know the gospel!
• Praise the Lord for the many children who have come home from Ukraine over the last 16 years!
• Praise the Lord for the a family who brought a teenager home this summer!  They are doing well and he is thriving in school!
• Pray for Josh, Jana, Brianna, and Toria as they continue to build relationships in Ukraine!
• Pray for Sasha, Natasha, Alex, and Alexandra who are on the ground in Ukraine.

• Pray that the Voodoo spirit would be torn down with the truth of Christ.
• Pray that the Church would rise up to engage in orphan care with the skills and abilities God has uniquely given them.
• Pray that God would raise up churches in the United States to champion a cause for the fatherless and put Togo on their heart.
• Pray that the gospel would penetrate the hearts of the people.
• Pray that strong leaders would rise up to lead the nation of Togo in an ethical way.
• Pray that a fresh vision of orphan care would be communicated to the leaders so that holistic orphan care can go forth.
• Pray for our partner, Pastor Francois, and future growth in our partnership with him and local church leaders in Togo.
• Pray for the upcoming “vision” trip to Togo that Michael Edwards will lead. Pray that the next steps of partnership are clear during this time.
• Praise for Godwin, Winner and Bernard (who grew up in an orphanage in Togo and now use skills that they’ve learned to help other orphans).
• Praise that God is living and active in faraway places like Togo. Many people have never been there or even heard of the country, but we’re thankful that God knows each and every person that lives there.

Join us as Herbie Newell and David Wooten lead us through “Basic Christianity” Chapter 11 and prayers for India.

• Pray for the church in India to be bold and steadfast. Pray that the Lord would raise up national Pastors and that the church would grow, even in the midst of persecution.
• Pray that the Lord would continue to ignite the hearts of believers in India to care for orphans and widows. Pray specifically for one of our greeters, Alex Sam, and his family as they seek to encourage local believers to care for the fatherless through family-based care.
• Pray for wisdom for the government as they make decisions related to adoption and orphan care.
• Pray for the staffing transitions that have been going on within the central authority, CARA. Pray for these new hires to be passionate about international adoption. Also pray that they would find favor with Lifeline specifically and work hard to speed up adoption procedures.
• Pray for the salvation of CARA’s Director, Deepak Kumar. Pray for our team’s time with him in November.
• Pray for God to draw more missional families to the India adoption process. Pray that families would see this as an opportunity for the Gospel to go forth in an unreached nation where other avenues of the Gospel are getting fewer/more restricted.
• Please pray for our team in the US (Herbie, Josh, Meredith, Morgan, Brooke, Taylor, Toria, and Merrill) as we seek to continue to grow this already-growing program.
• Pray for our amazing team on the ground, Alex and Marie, as they assist families in-country. Pray specifically for the provision of land for Alex’s ministry. Also pray for the ministry that Marie’s husband is a part of. Pray for God’s favor and grace over both of these ministries (Everett Mission and COI)
• Pray for our upcoming trip to India in November – Pray that God would use this trip to build relationships with CARA, STEPS, SAAs (licensed orphanages), and other partners on the ground.
• India is the country with the largest number of orphans in the world. Pray that these children would be reached with the hope of the Gospel and that they would be used as active agents of redemption in this nation.
• Only 2.2% of India’s population professes Christianity, and almost 95% is unreached. Pray for the Gospel to go forth in these areas where it has not yet been proclaimed. Pray for people’s hearts to be softened to the Gospel and that India would become a nation full of people who fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully.
• Pray for individuals and families who have given their lives to make the Gospel known in India. Pray for strength and steadfastness as they faithfully scatter seeds amongst those who have not heard/believed.
• Praise for the way the Lord has continued to grow this program! We now have almost 80 India families and pray that more families would continue to be drawn towards this special program.
• Praise for the connections the Lord has given us through Marie and Alex and other doors He continues to open for future partners in India on the ground.
• Praise the Lord for CARA remaining very pro-adoption, even in the midst of some challenges over the past year. Pray for this pro-adoption mindset to continue and for continued favor with Lifeline specifically.

Join us as Herbie Newell leads us through “Basic Christianity” Chapter 10 and prayers for Lifeline’s Families Count ministry .

• Will you ask the Lord to send parents in every location where Families Count is so that they may hear the Gospel and be restored to Him?
• We are preparing for a fall church training here in September. Will you ask the Lord to grant our staff discernment as we reach out to and recruit churches for the training?
• Will you ask Him to anoint the speakers for this occasion so that what is spoken is from Him?
• Will you ask the Lord for pastoral leadership in Mountain Home, Arkansas and Austin, TX? Lay leaders there are doing an excellent job of facilitating, but they long for leadership from the top to come alongside them in their efforts.
• Praise the Lord that He has raised up a church in Austin, TX, to lead the first Spanish Families Count class!
• Praise the Lord that He has opened a door for some of our staff to take Families Count to Romania! Will you ask that His Spirit would go ahead of us and prepare the hearts of the Church there?
• Please pray for translators –that he/she would come to understand the concepts being taught as well.
• Praise the Lord for the expansion of Families Count to other states and churches this year!
• Pray for our partners – that they would be refreshed by the work of the Holy Spirit and the fruit He allows us to see in these classes.
• Pray for more parents to be reconciled to the Father through Jesus and that they would take the Gospel to other struggling parents!

• Pray for the children of Peru: that they would hear the gospel & would also be sustained in their times of difficulty and waiting.
• Pray for the government to create better advocacy policies for the children to be declared abandoned to be eligible for adoption or to be reunited with biological families.
• Pray that God would provide more families for our 300 waiting kiddos!
• Pray for the children at Not Forgotten and for Gene and Patty as they lead the staff who care for the boys at the home.
• Pray for the government of Peru and the central authority (DGA/MIMP) to make wise decisions about orphan care.
• There are some things that we are continuing to work through culturally, spiritually, & politically with the government officials there.
• Pray that God will humble everyone to work for the best interest of the children.
• Please pray for our partner and representative Marisa. We are thankful for her time (over 10 years now) with Lifeline and her advocacy for our families.
• Pray for a family as their dossier was recently denied – pray that DGA will be open to the appeal we submitted last week. This family is hoping to adopt Abel (turned 16 in May) before he ages out.
• Please pray for families home with their children from Peru –
• Pray for continued bonding & attachment between the families and the children.
• Pray for opportunities for the children to hear the gospel.
• Praise God for the families who have committed to the program despite the difficulties – we are thankful for their patience in the process and passion for the country of Peru. Pray for the Lord to continue their strength and endurance.
• Praise God for our partnership with Marisa over the years. She just celebrated a birthday last week. We are thankful for her commitment and advocacy for the children of Peru.

• Pray for the country as they are re-evaluating adoption laws and intercountry adoption.
• Pray for the Ethiopian government to find an ethical solution for the children in need of care.
• Pray for (un)adopted opportunities in the country of Ethiopia.
• Pray for the Department of State’s commitment to continued conversations with the Ethiopian government.
• Pray for the remaining few families still finishing their adoption process.
• Pray for AP’s hearts to be bent to continue to seek out education in preparation for adoptive parenting.
• Pray for supernatural patience and endurance for these AP’s as they continue an extremely long and difficult process.
• Pray for the families in post adoption.
• Pray for their adjustment period and their transition to new family dynamics.
• Pray for attachment to grow within these families.
• Pray these families will implement the tools they learned in Crossings and other trainings in their lives in parenting their children.

REAP Ministry

• o Pray for the ministry of REAP, our partner that trainsand equips older orphans with life and job skills. Pray for REAP’s director, Christine Norman, as she is struggling with her health.

Life Skill Camps/Trainings

• For the kids who will attend REAP camps this fall.
• Pray that the local church would also play a role in discipling these young men and women after camp is over.
• Pray for the partnership we have with Destiny Newon, who helps at the camps and also started the Orphanage Director Network.

Praises

• Praise for the partnership that The Church at Brook Hills has formed through Lifeline and how their members care for the people of Liberia.

Children 

• Pray for the children in Guatemala 
  • Many children reside in orphanages. Pray for them as they grow up in places without a family.
  • Pray for their caretakers in these homes. Pray they have energy and endurance as they try to meet all the children’s needs.

 Partners 

• Pray for our partners at Village of Hope (VOH). Pray for wisdom as Lifeline continues to partner with them through (un)adopted and Caregiver Education training.
• Pray for our partner family specifically, that they have endurance, an ever-renewing sense of purpose, courage and energy while they manage the home.

Praises 

• Praise the Lord for the work that is being done at Village of Hope (VOH) and how they have been able to pursue serving HIV+ children and teen mothers and their babies.
