  • Episode 17: The Top 5 Thoughts that Hold Educators Back (and what to do about them!)
This week’s episode was inspired by a recent podcast I listened to that was all about the five thoughts that hold women back in their business. As I sat there listening along, I couldn’t help but make several connections between this business podcast and my role as an educator. And pretty quick after that, this podcast episode was born!
Millions of thoughts run through our minds every single day, and yet some are way more powerful than others. During today’s episode I am sharing my top 5 thoughts that I believe hold educators back. And of course, I’m sharing how we can change those thoughts the simple and easy way!
I’d love to hear which ones resonated with you the most and what you do to turn those thoughts around when they appear for you!
I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I loved recording it for you!

  • Episode 16: My Review of "The Coaching Habit" (AKA My New Book BFF)
This week’s episode is a book review of what might be my new BFF…not really, but it’s a close. When I say I couldn’t put this book down, I couldn’t put this book down! So what book am I talking about on today’s episode? Great question! The book is: The Coaching Habit: Sat Less, Ask More + Change the Way You Lead Forever. The author, Michael Bungay Stanier teaches seven questions that create an efficient dialogue between you and someone else, to truly create a larger impact and yet leave you without a ton of things added to your own to-do list!
I don’t know about you, but life as an educator can be tough! And if you’re an educator that is a people-pleaser, ohh don’t get me started! As a graduated people-pleaser, I love this book because not only does it provide tangible steps to take to coach others, it does so in a way that no only leaves you feeling productive and influential, but it allows the person you are coaching to be empowered and courageous! Isn’t that the best of both worlds?!
This episodes goes through the two parts of the book, and highlights the seven questions, that lead to an effective coaching session. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the best part! The coaching happens in 10 minutes or less! Sign me up!
I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I loved recording it for you!

How do I handle the emotional roller coaster I’ve been on?
How can I help a student to engage in e-learning? What should I do first?
Join along as I provide my answers to these three questions, and some other tips + tricks along the way too!
In this episode, I mentioned my upcoming webinar all about habits + goals. You can find more information about this webinar at: https://define-youniversity.mykajabi.com/offers/nJKXxcU4

  • Episode 14: Let’s Have a Virtual Coffee Chat
One of my favorite things to do is to meet a friend for coffee and chat and catch up! Well, with all going on in the world today, that may not be possible. I can either choose to focus on what I can’t do, or I can focus on what I can. And one thing I can do, is have a virtual coffee chat with you! So that’s what today’s episode is all about!
In this week’s episode I’m sharing the 5 things I would share with you if we were meeting for coffee today!
We’re covering the emotional roller coaster I’ve been on, what movie I’ve watched so much that I can recite every line, how I shifted my mindset from home schooling to home learning. We’re even covering my thoughts on cooking and what my biggest take away is from all of this!
So go grab you’re coffee (or tea or water) and listen along as we go on a virtual coffee date!
