On July 4th, 1986, Metal Blade Records dropped "Doomsday For The Deceiver" by Phoenix's Flotsam and Jetsam. Less than four months later, Newsted had joined Metallica right before they became the biggest band in the world.

He was the main composer of Flotsam and Jetsam. What did Metallica hear before plucking this unknown talent?

Join Nik and Duncan as they take this forgotten thrash record and dig right into it.

Good evening.

Welcome to the first annual (not really) ball of the forgotten albums where we listen to an odd ball record, much like Music From The Elder, which was a soundtrack to a movie that never happened.

Join us as Roger Glover, Ronnie James Dio, and Glenn Hughes do...whatever this album is!

In 1980, an unknown man by the name of Bruce Dickinson went into the studio with a band on the vanguard of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

We all knew that he was in the band, but what about Thunderstick and Clive Burr?

Come join Duncan and Nik as they delve deeply into Iron Maiden's AAA Farm Team to see if you should spin it or bin it!

Good evening!

In the 1960's, Rock's first supergroup reared its head and Cream ruled the world for about 24 glorious months. Unfortunately, no other supergroup was able to fully wear the mantle from that point on.

But nearly a quarter century later, Ginger Baker, the exceedingly sane and uber-talented drummer ends up with Masters of Reality and records an album called Sunrise on the Suffer Bus.

Duncan picked the tunes and I followed his lead. Check it out with us!

In 1998, David Lee Roth, John Lowery, later John 5, and other kids all assembled in the studio to create the masterpiece of the hair metal about 9 years after the genre had collapsed upon itself.

Nik and Duncan took on this forgotten album in Diamond Dave's canon to answer the eternal question: Spin it or Bin it?

Robert Plant's solo career was always a bit different from Led Zeppelin, but his 1985 album was far different from anything he had ever done. This week Nik and Duncan go deep on this forgotten album, Shaken and Stirred.

Come experience it with us.

In 1988, guitar ace, Vinnie Vincent, assembled the band that would later become Slaughter and they recorded his last solo album that featured songs.

Check it on out with us and decide if we should Spin it or Bin it!

In 1974, Judas Priest was signed to a major label. They'd recently recruited a tall, handsome, felt kimono adorned singer, and Glen Tipton.

Probably no one thought that this band was going to change the face of the world with a single show, but they did, but what did they sound like when they were still feeling their oats.

Come join us as we're joined by Judas Priest Superfan, Ritchie Randall of Joplin, MO's GRAVEHUFFER. He tells us about his new record and this very old one too.
