Guards take 2 of 3 in Boston to clinch at least a spot in the postseason. Now with 3 games to go, the guys discuss if they can win the division and hold on to get the first round bye. What a day he had on Wednesday. Guards with a 1/2 game lead now over Chicago with 9 to play. Athletics in for 3 this weekend, and then it is on to Boston and KC.
Train is Comin! Cleveland Guardians now just 1/2 game back of first place Chicago. Matt and Todd discuss the big series coming up this week, starting tonight, with the White Sox. Chicago reeling a bit and the Guards handle business in Minnesota. The fellas talk about Saturday and the "Franco Aleman Game." They also touch on the heaters that Angel Martinez and Travis Bazzana are on.

Today, a 6-3 defeat that saw more sloppy defense and careless pitching, 9 walks. Guards just a half game up on the Jays now in the race for the third and final AL Wildcard. Should the team callup Ralphy Velasquez? Why do they struggle so much here at home? Cleveland needs a bounce back with Detroit coming in for 4 the next 3 days.
Matt and Todd are back discussing the events of the weekend at Progressive Field. The 11 run outburst on Sunday was a nice bounce back, but the race for the final Wildcard spot is getting tight. Big day for Jose Ramirez and the top of the order Sunday. The guys also discuss how good Parker Messick has been and the 2 roster spots that open up tomorrow. Huge 3 gamer with the Jays coming up this week.
