This is a tough one. This week we celebrate the life and career of Bernie Mireault. Bernie was a friend to the show and would always answer questions whenever we messaged him. Bernie was a visionary creator that made comics that not only inspired a whole generation of creators but also changed the look of the "superhero" forever. Not just in comics but in art as a whole. He was an amazing musician as well, and we feature some of his music here. Ben and I flip through a bunch of The Jam comics, the Mackenzie Queen trade, Madman and The Jam and more.

I would def suggest watching the video version of this one.

Bernie's TeePublic is still active: https://www.teepublic.com/user/bernie_mireault

I sourced the Jam motion comic from this WayBack machine link. It recalls the CO2 comics page, which was a Comico reboot, i think.

This week we are getting a special peak into the creative process of the God and The Devil artist, John K. Snyder III. You should really watch this on on youtube to see how it all comes out of the paper. I'd also suggest you grab a black piece of paper, some colored pencils and follow along with the process. Super informative interview!! Put it on and make more comics!
