The Digression Sessions

Hola Digheads! We kind of put our thing down and reverse it this week, as Josh and Mike become the interviewees. Writer Connor Graham is our guest interviewer!

Connor is writing a piece for the Baltimore Fish Bowl on Baltimore podcasters and interviewed Josh and Mike as a part of it. And since Josh and Mike couldn't record a proper episode this week, we decided to release the raw audio from the interview.

We'll let you know when Connor's article is up! In the meantime, check out Connor's blog here - https://connorgrahamsite.wordpress.com/

This week, we have the very kind and funny, Hal Sparks! You know Hal from Talk Soup, Comedy Central, VH1, Lab Rats, and as the guy in the memorable "kind of rides up in the crotch: elevator scene in Spider Man 2! This episode is also the first Dig Sesh interview to not feature Josh Kuderna - just Mike and Hal on this one! Though, the DigBoys do a long discussion/intro before getting to the Hal segment.

Hola, Digheads! This week the guest is comedian, Nate Bargatze! Josh has a one on one with Nate in the green room of the Magooby's comedy club in Maryland. It's a fun talk about starting comedy in New York, asshole comedians, and an Eddie Bauer jacket. There are some interruptions in this one and some special appearances by comedians Damo Hicks and Mike Finazzo. Finazzo just happens to have a movie premiere on 2/4 in Baltimore! Go see his film, Wits End!

We got an epic one this time out, with subjects of conversation ranging from the feel-good, screwball, comedy Dear Zachery (spoiler alert: not something to watch while in the midst of a break up), to the moral and ethical, pros and cons of life size child dolls for pedophiles, to the boy’s dissenting opinion of the NWA biopic, and of course a little Making a Murder discussion to boot!

Hola Digheads, it's another solo one but don't you worry the boys put the endless suffering that is there lives lately on hold and indulge in some very funny recent occurances! Seriously guys, this may be the funniest episode we have had in ahwile.

Josh goes into graphic detail about his recent admission into the prestigious "Adults who have Shit their Pants while Sober Club" and the ensuing illness that was nice enough to accompany him to the ball. Also, Mike explains his recent "Uber ride that almost got porny" in just as graphic, but slightly less nauseating detail. Oh and we toss on an appendix as the boys couldn't resist screaming at each other over this "Making a Murderer" bussiness. Apparently Mike is the only person on the planet that thinks Steven Avery just plain did it. Thanks for the support DigHeads! A lot of you have told us that our recent revelations about our personal lives have been something you can relate to. That means everything to us!

This week on The Digression Sessions we have 0 guests but many things to discuss! Josh and Mike talk about what they do and don't like about a new film entitled Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Spoiler Alert: they like but don't love The Force Awakens.

Don't worry it's not all nerd talk on this one as you DigHeads seem to really enjoy when the boys get down and dirty with the darker parts of their fragile psyches. Mike has a humbling story about being viewed as a "fake comedian" and Josh reveals more of his surprisingly sorid origin story. But there's plenty of laughs along the way!
