The Digression Sessions

Hola DigHeads!! On today's episode we have the very talented rapper, 83 Cutlass! Josh and Mike once flipped burgers with this young man whom they knew as Chad. Chad tells the boys all about his career in the world of local hip-hop including his recent collaborations with Baltimore musicians Dan Deacon and Sam Herring from Future Islands (Sam raps as well!). He also explains just why his honest form of lyrical content gets so dang dark and gritty at times. And the 3 recount their former lives as part of a local Bmore eatery with arguably cult-like ties!

No guest? No problem! The boys' chat this week isn't as intense as last week's "Depression Sessions" but the boys do get deep into their personal lives as always, and discuss this weird world we live in. Some highlights include Josh’s recent attending of the Wye Oak/BSO show, and his somehow, never before spoken story of the time he had several machine guns pulled on him and was called a lady. Mike recounts his attending of the Insane Clown Posse show and his first experience with a chronically vomiting Uber rider. This is a fun one guys! DigHeads, it’ll make you as happy as a juggalo covered in Faygo!

Hola Digheads! It's a no guest, no problem kind of ep...well, there are a couple problems. That's right, it's an old fashioned Depression Sessions episode. Mike and Josh talk about shit that bums them out regarding comedy and family. But, it's still a fun ep and an honest talk between friends. Hope you enjoy it.

Come see the boys do a live pod at Liam Flynn's in Baltimore at 8 pm on 11/9!

Hola, Digheads! We're back w/ comedian, Ben O'Brien! Ben just got back from touring as a guru and cult leader named "Earth Universe," while opening for his buddy Dan Deacon. Ben's been on the show a number of times, but it's always fun to talk to him. We talk stress, touring, mad cow, their Adult Swim videos, and the future of Wham City Comedy.

Hola DigHeads! This week Josh and Mike are joined by Baltimore rapper, DDM! DDM is one of the area’s most beloved hip hop artists, who worked his way through the ranks of competitive street battles to become a staple performer of the rap scene on both a local and national level. Check out his new group, Bond St. District!

DDM does not hold back or mince words as he schools the boys on the perfectionism and discipline it takes to make a solid act in the competitive world of MCing. He tells us what he hates and what he loves with very little in between and articulates the backlash he has had to endure among people he considered his own. And he handles all of that while avoiding being pigeon holed as only a "gay rapper."

You’re going to enjoy this one Dig Heads, it is seriously one interesting listen! Thanks for all the support we have been getting lately, please keep those 5 star reviews on iTunes and comments on our FB page a-comin! We love you!
