All is not well in 49er land but too many people are pretending that it is. Idiotic player personnel decisions, a losing record since 2013, ridiculous expectations, head scratching decisions from the head coach, no direction on the QB situation, are just a few of the problems facing the San Francisco 49ers. The lack of media accountability bothers me and the overall laissez faire attitude of the bay area fans is annoying. 

In a new book titled "Its Better To Be Feared" it was revealed that the GOAT Tom Brady wanted to finish his illustrious career for his childhood favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. 49er head coach Kyle Shanahan decided against it instead opting to continue forward with Jimmy Garoppolo in a move that can only be described as idiotic. 

Week 3 is in the books! 49ers come up short in a Sunday night thriller vs Green Bay. Missed opportunities and a sluggish start were too much to overcome as San Francisco falls to 2-1. Elsewhere an absolutely disgraceful coaching performance by Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy who set up his rookie QB Justin Fields for failure in Cleveland. Fields was sacked 9 times in a game in a appalling display of coaching ineptitude. Rams are currently the best team in the NFL after a 34-24 win vs defending champion Tampa Bay. The end is near for Ben Roethlisberger as the Steelers offense continues to struggle. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs find themselves in unfamiliar territory at the bottom of the AFC West after a 1-2 start. The Lions lose in the most Lions way possible. 2nd week in the NFL is in the books! 49ers struggle mightily on offense in an ugly win vs Philadelphia. The greatest QB of all time continues to be awesome. If there was ever a such thing as a win that feels like a loss its the San Francisco 49ers 41-33 victory over the Detroit Lions last Sunday. San Francisco dominated the game for 58 minutes but let up in the last 2 minutes to let Detroit make a game out of it. Season ending injuries to Raheem Mostert and Jason Verrett dampened what should have been a joyous victory.

AEW All Out was a complete success! All Out restored my faith in professional wrestling. The long awaited in ring return of CM Punk vs Darby Allin was a 5 star classic. The AEW debuts of Ruby Soho, Adam Cole, and Daniel Bryan were a delight to see. The momentum in pro wrestling is firmly with AEW right now on the heels of a some big names joining them and a landmark PPV that was the most fun I had watching wrestling in years. 

THE REAL IS BACK IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING! After 7 years and 2766 days CM Punk makes his triumphant return to professional wrestling at AEW Rampage last Friday in his hometown of Chicago, IL. He gave an extraordinary promo and announced his arrival in WWEs newest rival much to the delight of wrestling fans worldwide. On the other hand WWE Summerslam in Las Vegas was a letdown. a series of disappointing matches highlighted by a baffling decision to have a returning Becky Lynch defeat Bianca Belair in less than 10 seconds. Brock Lesnar also returned to confront Roman Reigns after his victory over John Cena. AEW has all the momentum in the world right now. Only time will tell if they can capitalize it and continue to apply pressure to WWE. 

The battle for 49er QB supremacy continues between rookie Trey Lance and the incumbent starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Who will be the starter on opening day vs Detroit? That remains to be seen. As far as I'm concerned I've already seen enough from Jimmy Garoppolo and am more intrigued by the potential of Trey Lance.
