The Dive | Driven by Kia - A League of Legends Esports Podcast

Hello Dive homies, we've got a doozie of an episode for you today as Azael, Kobe & Mark welcome IMT's coach Invert to talk game balance & the upcoming patch!

But before that, the trio goes over Golden Guardians' HUGE pick up of River, what that means for the Dignitas Franchise & Soul stepping back from the LCS (by his own choice).

Then Coach Invert joined us from Immortals to talk about the direction of the game, how laning might actually matter in the pro scene now & whether Leblanc will be a complete terror in League. Then Azael, Kobe & Mark go COMPLETELY off the rails & cover the teams all willy nilly (as they should... they know this stuff better than our boomer producer). Kobe gets hyped for CLG (again), Mark diagnosis "the problem" with Team Liquid & Azael weighs in on FlyQuest as they soar up in the standings.

Sorry to those of you that send in questions! We'll get to our backlog next week. A reminder that if you tweet them, use #TheDiveLol and if you send them on Anchor.FM, include your name in the audio! We love shouting out our fans.

Tune in Saturday where FlyQuest face off against Cloud9 at 1:30PM PDT. Don't miss out on Toucouille vs. Jensen!

Hey there Dive friendos, we're back with lots to talk about after a spicy weekend of upsets & news. We've got Azael, Kobe & Mark full of caffeine & full of news to kick off your week in league.

Welcome back Dive Fans, we missed you during the break! Thankfully Azael, Mark & Kobe all have plenty to talk about as we head back into the Summer action!

The trio weigh in on the TSM roster shake up, what champs are Overpowered in Patch 12.13 & what teams they're keeping an eye out for when the games kick off this weekend.

Thank you for those of you that send in questions! A reminder that if you tweet them, use #TheDiveLol and if you send them on Anchor.FM, include your name in the audio! We love shouting out our fans.

We'll have some answers to our questions about TL Honda, C9 & everybody else when we return on Saturday! Game 1 is 100 Thieves vs. FlyQuest at 1:30PM PDT. See you there!

Gear up for Week 3 Dive Fans! Raz joins our birthday boys Mark & Kobe to talk about a new patch hitting the LCS, takeaways from Week 2 and look ahead to the matchups to watch for week 3. The trio then tackle your questions around how to improve the early game and the dilemma rookies face when joining an LCS team.

As always,  please leave your questions either below, on twitter or on Anchor.FM so we can feature them on future episodes.

Summer split action continues this weekend with TSM vs Evil Geniuses on Saturday 7/2 at 1:30pm PDT, and Dignitas vs TSM on Sunday 7/3 at 12:30pm PDT. Don’t miss it!

Hey there Dive fans! We have a DOOZY for you this week as we deliver a special 2 parter episode. We kick things off with Azael, Kobe & Mark to chat about the first week of LCS play & then we invite League of Legends Developers Riot Phroxon & Riot TrueXY to talk about the durability update and where they see the game evolving moving forward.

You may notice some inconsistencies in how they address both sections, we decided to put the League Dev discussion on the 2nd half of the episode after the initial recording, so apologies for any confusion that may cause.

On the LCS side, Kobe delivers some of that sweet CLG & Cloud9 hopium, while Mark peddles some for FLY... but Azael sure wasn't buying. Then in the discussion with the League devs, we talk about the state of scaling, how regions influence balance & how items impact our perception of durability.

We weren't able to get to your questions this week, but we hope you continue to leave them in the Youtube Comments below, on Twitter or on Anchor.FM so we can cover your thoughts on the LCS as it developsThe LCS returns this Saturday with the premiere of the Zven & Berserker bot lane as Cloud9 faces Dignitas at 1:30PM PT, see you there!

Happy Summer Dive Fans! Raz joins Mark & Azael for our start of split Power Ranking Episode! Kobe was too afraid to defend his takes CLEARLY, but we took down his power rankings so he can't double back.

The trio run down the changes heading into Summer & how this turned out to be the hardest split to judge relative powers of all the teams! They also share their thoughts on the new patch, a certain upcoming League of Legends mockumentary called Players out on Paramount+ now!

Next week, we'll be joined by 2 League devs to talk about the changes, so please leave your questions either below, on twitter or on Anchor.FM so we can share your thoughts on the state of the meta.

We're excited to hear your thoughts? Who is the runaway for first? Who do you have competing for a spot in Playoffs? Leave your thoughts here and make sure to tune into the start of LCS split tomorrow! Evil Geniuses faces Cloud9 at 2:30PM PT, see you there!
