Are participation trophies making kids soft? What happens when a 14-year-old is worth hundreds of millions of dollars? And when exactly do you realize you've officially become OLD?
This episode of The Do-Over Podcast goes from parenting and youth sports to progressive lenses, camping with 20 dudes, childhood weed stories, bizarre thought experiments, AI, child influencers, money, marriage, friendship, and everything that happens when a normal conversation completely goes off the rails.
The crew debates whether kids should actually have to earn their trophies, including the incredible story of a soccer dad whose philosophy was essentially: no win, no cupcake. That launches a much bigger conversation about achievement, overbearing parents, raising successful kids, and whether there's a line between pushing your children and pushing them WAY too far.
Then Drew has to confront an even more horrifying reality: he's becoming an old man. Progressive lenses are exciting now, a phone holster suddenly doesn't sound completely ridiculous, and New Balances might be next.
Things only get stranger from there.
The crew tackles the Ship of Theseus, debates the social rules surrounding farting and burping, talks about childhood experiences with weed, and eventually discovers just how enormous the business of children's YouTube content has become. The conversation about young influencers eventually reaches Ryan Kaji and the staggering amount of money surrounding his media empire—which immediately raises another question: what would YOU have done if you'd had ridiculous money as a teenager?
Plus: Darren somehow convinces everyone to rearrange their morning for him…only for his plans to change anyway.
It's parenting, adulthood, money, AI, questionable decisions, ridiculous debates, and the kind of conversations that probably shouldn't happen in front of microphones.
Welcome back to The Do-Over Podcast.

GTA 6 is leaking, Dave Bautista is stepping into God of War, Dune 3 reactions are getting ridiculous, and somehow that's only the beginning.
Drew and Royce are back for another episode packed with gaming news, movies, TV, comics and the completely unnecessary tangents that inevitably derail the entire show.
This week, we dive into the massive hype surrounding GTA 6, including reported gameplay leaks, the staggering money surrounding the game, Netflix's GTA 6 trailer play, and the absolutely wild history of Rockstar leaks. With GTA 6 shaping up to be one of the biggest entertainment releases in years, can anything possibly live up to this level of hype?
Then we're talking Dave Bautista as Kratos, what makes God of War such a difficult game to adapt, why video-game adaptations like Halo can go so wrong, and whether Bautista has the dramatic range to bring the modern version of Kratos to life.
Plus: early Dune 3 reactions have Drew dangerously excited, James Gunn's increasingly bizarre corner of DC gets debated, Sons of Anarchy may be coming back, Sicario 3 has us talking Denis Villeneuve and James Bond, K-Pop Demon Hunters somehow leads into a trademark lawsuit, and Drew absolutely refuses to pay to see Avengers: Endgame again just for new footage.
And yes, we also discover that apparently the most effective disguise in black ops is Crocs.
Come for the nerd news. Stay because Drew and Royce completely lose control of the conversation.

Drew, Jess, and Royce are back—and the plan to make one wholesome, YouTube-friendly episode lasts approximately 20 seconds.
The crew gets into Drew's ongoing battle with keto, Jess's experience with GLP-1 medication, the increasingly bizarre world of peptides, and the discovery of something apparently called “Wolverine Peptides.” From there, Jess explains why years of dating football fanatics may have given her legitimate football trauma, while Drew argues that a nerdy guy with a decent job and video games might actually be the safest boyfriend on Earth.
Then there's Elliott's upcoming wedding—and apparently he has made the questionable decision to ask Drew for a speech while simultaneously refusing to let Drew and Jess give one together. Naturally, they take this extremely well and absolutely do not spend the next several minutes roasting him for it.
The conversation also dives into sports fandom, old-school punk rock gatekeeping, kids wearing band shirts for bands they've never heard, social media, relationships, internet culture, and the increasingly insane things people are willing to say online.
The episode also takes a serious turn for a discussion surrounding the Lindsay Clancy case, postpartum mental health, personal responsibility, the justice system, and the disturbing way horrific real-world events are transformed into political and social-media battlegrounds.
Then, because this is The Do Over Podcast, everyone immediately attempts to recover by watching ridiculous internet videos—including questionable real estate advice, savage comment sections, dating “fixer-uppers,” and relationship podcasts that may accidentally prove the hosts don't actually like women.
It's Drew, Jess, and Royce doing what they do best: stories, arguments, relationships, nostalgia, terrible advice, and conversations that go somewhere nobody expected.

Drew and Royce are back, and this episode goes completely off the rails almost immediately.
What starts with Drew getting absolutely destroyed by the live chat somehow turns into a conversation about male friendships, fragile egos, 4AM emergency phone calls, parenting, social media, childhood pranks, Puggles King, Vegas stripper stories, dad bods, Drake's dating life, and one father who apparently thought driving his kids around to TP houses was quality family bonding.
Royce tells the unbelievable story of creating a Facebook account under his dog's identity—and what happened when Facebook demanded that he prove he was actually "Puggles King." Drew tries to figure out how he's going to survive his daughters eventually dating, Royce explains why his dad was basically the getaway driver for childhood TP missions, and the guys remember the completely different world they grew up in.
Then things somehow get even stranger.
Drew and Royce get into ridiculous stripper encounters, a wild Vegas story about turning a night at the club into an ATM, the truth about America's supposed love of "dad bods," Drake's extravagant dating moves, social media, parenting, getting older, and why being able to laugh at yourself might be one of the most important qualities a person can have.
It's another completely unpredictable episode of The Do Over Podcast with Drew and Royce—where somehow every tangent becomes another story.

Drew and Royce are back for another Taps & Takes, and somehow a conversation about D23, Marvel, X-Men, Wolverine, Dune and Star Wars gets completely derailed by butter chicken-scented soap, movie mandates, road-trip survival, parenting, and Royce admitting he basically uses movie theaters as nap rooms.
This week, Drew and Royce break down the newly revealed X-Men casting and debate some of Marvel's biggest choices, including Rogue, Professor X and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister. They also get into the new Wolverine game, why finally unleashing a fully realized Wolverine could make it something special, Ahsoka Season 2, Vision Quest, Dune tickets, Doomsday hype and more of the biggest entertainment announcements making noise.
But this is Taps & Takes, so naturally none of that happens without getting wildly sidetracked.
Royce brings Drew possibly the strangest gift ever: "gingerbread" hand soap that somehow smells suspiciously like butter chicken. Drew explains why he needs Royce to hold him accountable for a movie "mandate," the guys talk about Red Rising, East of West, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, ridiculously long movies, parenting, Bluey, Paw Patrol—and why Royce apparently considers a children's movie ticket an excellent investment in a two-hour nap.
Movies. Games. Comics. Parenting. Questionable gifts. Completely unnecessary tangents.
It's another episode of Taps & Takes with Drew and Royce.

The Do-Over Podcast may officially be on YouTube time out… so naturally Drew and Jess decided this was the perfect episode to say even MORE things they probably shouldn't say.
S02 E60 goes completely off the rails as Drew and Jess dive into everything from YouTube's mysterious algorithm and getting demonetized to Jess's wild Palm Springs weekend, relationship disasters, dating stories, getting older, Drew slowly transforming into a wide-brimmed-hat-and-phone-holster dad, and the absolute insanity of modern internet culture.
Jess returns from an unbelievable Palm Springs trip surrounded by beautiful people and immediately questions every decision she's ever made. Meanwhile, Drew gets LEFT BEHIND on his own family's Santa Cruz trip, drives hours to catch them, gets destroyed by the sun, buys a giant hat and realizes the algorithm apparently thinks he's reached the “phone holster” stage of adulthood. That entire progression happens in the episode and is one of its funniest recurring stories.
Then things get considerably more unhinged.
The conversation turns toward dating, relationships, social media, bizarre internet personalities, whether algorithms reward the most extreme people online, and a generation of kids who apparently all want the same career: influencer. Drew and Jess debate what social media is doing to normal people and why being reasonable doesn't seem to generate clicks anymore.
And somehow it ends with British food, beans on toast, reaction videos, questionable accents and the realization that maybe there actually is a good side to the Internet.
This is The Do-Over Podcast: inappropriate stories, relationships, internet culture, marriage, parenthood and conversations that probably should have stayed off camera.

Why do married couples have their biggest arguments over the smallest things?
This week on The Do-Over Podcast, Drew and Darren are back with an episode about marriage, money, parenting, diets, school drama, getting older—and the completely irrational things that can push a grown man over the edge.
Drew decides it's finally time to get serious about keto again... only to discover that removing carbohydrates may also remove his ability to peacefully handle a late-night request from his wife. One Photoshop adjustment later, doors are slamming and Sarah is telling him to eat a piece of bread. The conversation turns into the ridiculous arguments every married couple seems to have, why financial stress makes everything worse, and Darren's frustration with being asked to do something approximately four seconds after finally sitting down.
Then there's the mystery of where all your money goes, ridiculous ATM and transaction fees, parents celebrating when their kids finally go back to school, embarrassing childhood memories, and an important question society has ignored for too long:
How many days can you wear the same pair of pants before they actually need to be washed?
Darren says at least three if they're still clean. We're opening this question to the court of public opinion.
Plus, Drew and Darren discover that The Do-Over may have landed in YouTube timeout, discuss what happened to the previous episode, react to internet insanity, argue over Darren's extremely credible "facts," and somehow make it to the end of another completely derailed episode.
The Do-Over Podcast is comedy, relationships, marriage, parenting, pop culture, ridiculous stories, questionable advice and conversations between friends that probably should have stayed private.

This week on Taps & Takes, Drew and Royce dive headfirst into the biggest movie, Marvel, X-Men, gaming and pop-culture stories of the week—and somehow end up trying to save Drew's marriage with a trip to the movie theater along the way.
Spider-Man is putting up absolutely ridiculous box-office numbers, leading to the question of just how massive its theatrical run can become. But Marvel has another problem waiting around the corner: what do you do with Wolverine when Hugh Jackman has become almost impossible to replace? Drew and Royce debate whether X-Men needs to move beyond Wolverine, whether X-23 could become the answer, and why introducing a new Wolverine could overshadow Marvel's entire mutant reboot.
Then it's time for the live-action Legend of Zelda movie, including casting discussion, Ganondorf, Sam Neill, Samara Weaving and whether Hollywood can actually pull off one of gaming's most beloved franchises without screwing it up. Drew explains why Zelda has been part of his life since childhood—and why a successful first movie could open the door to an enormous franchise.
PLUS: Royce's hilariously expensive habit of falling asleep during children's movies, Paramount's movie promises, Michael Jackson's upcoming biopics and whether they can honestly address the controversial second half of his life, a wild Black Panther tangent, Mortal Kombat getting confiscated by Mom, Marvel fighting games, old-school arcade culture, Star Wars: Visions, Death Note, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen and Drew finally assigning Royce anime homework.
And yes—Royce actually calls Drew's wife Sarah live during the show to convince Drew to take her on a date.
Whether you're into Marvel, Spider-Man, Wolverine, X-Men, Zelda, gaming, movies, anime, DC, Star Wars or old-school nerd culture, Taps & Takes is your weekly dose of entertainment news, ridiculous arguments, nostalgia and completely unnecessary tangents.
Featuring Drew & Royce.

This week on The Do Over Podcast, Drew, Jess and Darren dive into one of the wildest collections of stories we've had yet—from bachelor parties, jealousy and girls-night revenge to fake pregnancies, insane Netflix documentaries, internet predators, AI, parenting and some of the strangest people social media has ever created.
Jess kicks things off with the story of her husband heading to Vegas for a bachelor party—and why she and her best friend definitely, absolutely, totally DID NOT care. That naturally turns into location stalking, strip clubs, bachelorette-party retaliation, male strippers and one important question: how do you make a man jealous when he simply refuses to get jealous?
Then things take a darker turn.
Drew gets completely sucked into a weekend of Netflix documentaries, including an unbelievable true-crime story involving a woman who allegedly faked an entire pregnancy—fake baby bumps, fake ultrasounds, a gender reveal, a baby shower and months of lies—before the story escalates into something far more horrifying.
The crew also dives into the bizarre story of viral YouTuber EDP445, internet fame, online grifters, outrage culture, influencers saying increasingly ridiculous things for attention, and whether the internet has discovered a cheat code where being terrible can actually make you famous.
PLUS: the squirrel saga continues, a child unknowingly adopts a dead crab, parents debate when kids should learn the truth about Santa, the Tooth Fairy apparently has been hit by inflation, AI's effect on the next generation, Roblox jobs, relationship jealousy, Vegas pool horror stories and plenty more.
Featuring Drew, Jess & Darren.

Three guys. One studio. Absolutely no adult supervision.
This week on The Do Over Podcast, Drew, Royce, Darren and the crew somehow go from arguing about what social-media algorithms think we want, to Oregon road trips, ridiculous targeted ads, relationships, marriage, modern parenting—and one increasingly tragic baby squirrel.
Drew explains how trying to rescue an injured baby squirrel turned into dreams of becoming a full-fledged squirrel dad… until everything went horribly wrong and the rest of the studio decided there was only one person to blame.
The guys also get into how algorithms can slowly turn normal people into one-topic lunatics, the insanity of modern targeted advertising, Oregon stories, whether married men should simply learn which arguments aren't worth winning, the great kitchen-sink marital dispute, why parents now need seventeen different apps just to send a kid to school, and the strange things people will admit anonymously on the internet. The algorithm discussion even turns surprisingly thoughtful, with the guys arguing that recommendation systems can push people toward increasingly narrow interests and viewpoints.
It's friendship, marriage, parenting, terrible decisions, questionable internet behavior and completely unnecessary arguments—the way The Do Over Podcast was meant to be.
Featuring Drew, Royce, Darren and the crew.
