Ray calls in from his fever dream as Hillary keeps his seat warm. We discuss the sickness and then Chris wants to get into his chafing problems. We take on a couple of home improvement issues, including a wet basement and wall stud types for an addition. Colin regales the gang with an old school screen printing story. We end with some stories of our misspent youth.

We open with some fun talk about poop transplants and our the the intestinal brain. Getting into the shop talk we discuss Ray and Chris' work on a new sound studio and the concepts of soundproofing. Colin digresses with another harrowing motorcycle story. Then we get into an extensive exposition on choosing power tool vendors. A caller asks about leveling a concrete. We end by answering a listener call about the rigors of moving to Los Angeles.

Colin and Ray wing it in our temp studio. A short show, but some lively discussion. Colin attempts to get into the Adam business but Ray, as usual, changes the subject. We discuss retrofitting some cabinets to install a fridge, cheap pool heating, and building a professional recording studio. Not our greatest episode, but some very interesting things are in the works... stay tuned.

The guys take a call from Colin's plumber friend Glenn and talk to him about some of the massive projects he's working on and what they entail, as well as calls from listeners about new windows, building a backyard ice rink, and whether or not PB&J goes with beer.

Ray, Chris & Colin open the show catching each other up on their respective projects including digitizing, cutting out slabs, & finishing a driveway. Then Chris fills the guys in about some of the archaeological discoveries he heard about on the radio that turned up as a result of construction in LA. They move on to voicemails about cracked concrete foundation & a faulty water softener. They close the show answering a video question on where to mount a TV & a voicemail about replacing carpet.

Ray opens the show talking to Colin and Chris about going to the "Jim" and how therapy has helped him. Then take a voicemails about cracked ceilings, paint peeling from windows, and pressure treated treated lumber. They then take their first live call and help a young man decide on his future. The guys close the show talking about a friend of Ray's whom he saved from being screwed by a plumber.

Ray, Chris and Colin open the show answering a question from r/HomeImprovement about flipping stairs. Colin shares what happened to his dog as a result of snaking his draining run. They then have a discussion about what undertakings DIYers should try themselves, and which trades they should farm out to the pros. Chris then tells some horror stories of DIY projects gone awry. They close the show answering an email about adding a gutter to a water storage tank.

Ray opens the show announcing he bought a new computer, and since he's on a tech hot streak pitches an app to Chris and Colin. Then the guys take listener voicemails which include questions about lake houses, insulation, and rodents. Finally, a listener has some constructive criticism for Ray.

Ray, Chris & Colin are joined by Colin’s wife Hillary and hear a little bit about her background. Before hopping into home improvement questions, Ray does an awkward dive into everyone’s family dynamics, Chris and Hillary give some insight on their current project and the joys of commercial interiors, and Colin introduces a trivia game that makes Trivial Pursuit look like Kid’s Week on Jeopardy!. Then the guys take listener questions involving cracked sinks and replacing living room trim.
