Trump decides to give a press conference while the Devil's Advocates are live on the air. He should wait until after the show next time, because that means Dom and Crute can react to it live, MST3K style! He's down another $352 million thanks to the New York case, which Judge Engoron ruled on today.

It seems like he's gonna be pretty strapped for cash here, thanks to the many judgements now ruled against him. That's an issue for anyone, but especially if you're running for president! How many Trump Towers will he need to liquidate just to pay all his court fines...

Oh, and Crute's going to be out next week, going to take some time to visit family in California. Maybe he should pay famous Wisconsinite Eric Hovde a visit... But don't worry, Dom and Producer Nate will be holding down the fort in Wisconsin while Crute's away!

We've all been broke before, who hasn't had to make buttered noodles last a weekend? We've never been as broke as Trump today though! He's been ordered to pay $364 million in fines due to his shady business dealings in New York.

Former head of the Republican Party of Wisconsin and false elector Andrew Hitt is making his way to 60 Minutes this weekend to spin lies about why he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election. He was just scared, you can't blame him! Let's just hope that the 60 Minutes interviewer, whoever that may be, holds him to the fire like he deserves.

Nick Ramos, from the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign and the WI Fair Maps Coalition, joins the Devil's to talk about the new legislative maps, written by Tony Evers, passed by Republicans in the legislature, and awaiting signature by Evers again. Crute's argued most of the week that Evers needs to VETO the maps! Ramos disagrees, saying we need to take what we can get now!

Trump will be going to court for his porn-star-hush-money case at the end of March, and he's not happy about it, to say the least. He was right about one thing, this case is about election interference. The problem is, the election it worked to interfere was the 2016 election, when all these issues were happening in the first place.

Remember when Republicans yelled about Hunter Biden's Ukraine deals for what feels like years? Well, as it turns out, the informant who tipped the FBI on the case... LIED. Now they're under fire from the LA justice department, and are now facing charges for lying to the FBI. Maybe don't accuse the president of corruption if you have no evidence? Just my advice.

Then, Fani Willis takes the stand in Georgia as Trump's lawyers accuse her of misconduct for her prior relationship with a prosecutor. She was having none of the Trumpers accusations, and fires back by calling them liars!

After yesterday's Deep Throat phone call to Crute cluing him into what's really going on with Republicans passing Tony Evers' legislative maps, Crute got ANOTHER Deep Throat call TODAY asking him to pull another 180 and support the maps! But he isn't convinced! Yes, the maps have merit, and Republicans will probably pull some shenanigans, leaving the maps up to the state Supreme Court is still the best move. At least, Dom and Crute think so.

For once, the right is, well, right. George Soros is getting into the media game! He's getting ready to purchase Odyssey, the second biggest radio network in the nation. Dom and Crute just have one question left - they've been accused of taking Soros money for years, can they finally get a piece of that pie? Whatever happens, we know one thing for sure. The CJ's of the world are going to lose their mind.

The George Santos seat in Congress saw a Democrat win in a special election yesterday, bringing a major flip to Mike Johnson's alright tight margins. Is this election a sign of what's to come later this year? Johnson says there's no way it could be a bellwether!

Plus, Jack Smith is asking SCOTUS to allow Trump's trial to continue, and to uphold a ruling that he doesn't have his absolute diplomatic immunity. The public deserves a fair and speedy trial, he says, so even if they do want to give him his immunity, do it now!

And of course, callers agree with the Devils and say that Tony Evers HAS to veto the legislative maps passed by Republicans Tuesday. It's a trap Tony! Don't let them send you down in a red shirt!

Crute got a confidential call today, his very own Deep Throat, that's getting him to pull a 180 and call on Governor Tony Evers to VETO the new legislative maps passed by Vos and the Republicans yesterday. Of course Vos would have some sneaky, ulterior motives. If Evers signs the maps, Crute and his deep throat say, Wisconsin will not have new maps in 2024.

It's not that Tony's maps are bad. It's that passing these maps gives Republicans (*cough cough WILL*) the chance to challenge them in federal court. Let the Wisconsin Supreme Court have the final say in the maps, and let the maps stay a state issue, and not a federal issue.

Would Tony be called a backsliding snake by Republicans? Yes, but they're calling him that anyways!

Meanwhile, The CapTimes is taking a hard stab at WEC Commissioner Bob Spindell. I wonder why? Could it be when he bragged about suppressing the Black vote in Milwaukee? Or maybe it was his role as a false elector in 2020?

Joe Biden had some harsh words for the former-president today, after Trump's comments that Russia should go ahead and invade any of our NATO allies. Of course he would say that, he's a good friend of Russia! That comes on the heels of the US Senate voting in favor of sending aid to Israel, Ukraine, and other US allies.

Jon Stewart with the Daily Show is, well, back with the Daily Show! The Devils look back and remember how the Daily Show has evolved over the years, and how Republicans seem to think that he and Stephen Colbert are on their side?

Then - should we bring back the draft? One caller sure thinks so, if we're funding wars anyways, we should be sending people to fight in them. Dom and Crute are in agreement for once, saying no, it should not. Who wants to be forced to fight in some political war they don't believe in?

Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature have passed Governor Evers' new legislative maps, completely unchanged from how they were when he sent them to the state Supreme Court. Have Republicans finally thrown in the white flag? Has hell frozen over? Evers has even promised to sign the maps into law, though there is one small caveat with today's maps, is that enough for Evers to try and veto them? Dom thinks he should!

That caveat? The maps won't be in place until this fall, meaning that any special election or recall election that takes place before then would take place under the current maps. Crute's okay with that, because it means that Vos can still be thrown out!

Kenneth Cheese-bro is seeming to be getting in deeper and deeper trouble, with new evidence bringing good ol' Jim Troupis down with him! Cheese-bro was a good lawyer, keeping all of his receipts, showcasing exactly how he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election both here in Wisconsin and across the country.

Today is the deadline for Donald Trump's legal team to request more time for their presidential immunity legal case. Perhaps they're also suffering from a Super Bowl hangover, because they quoted Yogi Berra in their statement. Dom and Crute take your calls on Trump's flimsy case.

Over the weekend, Trump said that if countries in NATO don't "pay their dues," then he wouldn't protect them. Instead, he would encourage Russia to "do whatever the hell they want" to these countries. Does that sound like the voice of the Commander-In-Chief? We sure hope not.

If something were to happen to Joe Biden, there's a clear line of succession. Kamala Harris would step up to the role. However, there is far less clarity on the MAGA side of things. Would Nikki Haley be a shoe-in? It seems unlikely. We take your calls on the matter.
