Catch up on this week’s best segments!
First, from Monday’s second hour, a conversation with our favorite DELANO DEMOCRAT (Dom’s making it a thing), Harvey Kaye. What do Democrats need to do to start winning again?
Next, revisiting Tuesday’s second hour where we covered the 10 new charges levied against Wisconsin’s fake electors. We also spent significant time covering this subject on Thursday with Jim Santelle. Listen to him disagree with Dom’s glee over the new charges during our second hour with Jim.
Speaking of Jim Santelle, come back to our first hour with him on Thursday for the next segment. Did undercover FBI agents instigate the January 6th, 2021 assault on the Capitol?
Finally, wrap up with a bit of poetry as we come back to our second hour with Matt Rothschild on Wednesday. Take a few minutes to appreciate Nikki Giovanni’s revolutionary life and words.
Guests: Harvey Kaye, Jim Santelle, Matt RothschildJimmie Kaska, Sports Director for Civic Media, guest hosts today. In this hour, it’s all about schools and sports in Wisconsin.
First, Jimmie talks with Dr. Jamie Nutter, District 3 Administrator for Cooperative Education Services Agency- CESA 3. CESA seeks creative partnerships among schools and between schools and businesses to meet the needs of each school with the resources surrounding it. After a year of record-setting school referenda, both in terms of money sought and money approved, Jimmie asks Dr. Nutter: What can we be doing proactively to meet schools’ needs?
At the bottom of the hour, Jimmie talks with Jesse Norris, head coach for Edgewood High School’s football team. The two discuss Jesse’s new proposal to revamp Wisconsin’s football playoff qualification system. There’s a lot of math involved, but it makes some sense!

Guests: Dr. Jamie Nutter, Jesse Norris, Jimmie KaskaJimmie Kaska, Civic Media’s Sports Director guest hosts for the day. We start the hour with some lighthearted talk on the time of year. Then, it’s time for some money talk. Wisconsin has a huge surplus, what should be done with it. What would you think of a cheese mouse in every city, town, and village?
Civic Media northwest news chief James Kelly joins us at the bottom of the hour to discuss the Enbridge Energy Line 5, an aging and environmentally dangerous pipeline that crosses over 17,000 miles between Canada and America. The pipeline faces legal action in Wisconsin. It also features at the heart of this documentary covering the Bad River Band’s fight for sovereignty of their land and safety of their natural resources, which the pipeline seriously threatens.

Guests: James KellyRichland School District Administrator, Steve Board, was on the Morning Show on December 13 to provide an update on upcoming events and recent school board meeting information.
Guest: Phil NeeJim Santelle cohosts today. Continuing the conversation from last hour, Dom and Jim address the additional 10 charges levied against Wisconsin’s slate of fake electors. While many see these additional 10 charges as justice long delayed finally reaching a mark, Jim takes a different view. The two then move to discussing Presidential pardons. Today, President Joe Biden announced pardons 39 people and commuted the sentences of another 1500, a one-day record. In addition to these 1500 commutations and pardons, Biden is reportedly considering preemptive pardons for those who Trump threatens with legal persecution.

Guests: Jim SantelleJim Santelle cohosts today to tackle trending legal news. Dom and Jim begin the show addressing Christopher Wray’s impending resignation at the end of the Biden administration. Is this the right move to preserve the independence of the FBI and DoJ from the White House? Probably, almost certainly, definitely not. At the bottom of the hour, the two address the report today that no undercover FBI agents participated in the January 6th, 2021 attack on the Capitol. Yet again, no one forced or coerced the rioters to riot. Dom and Jim return to Wisconsin news at the very end of the hour to preview next episode’s coverage of the additional charges levied against Wisconsin’s fake 2020 electors.

Guests: Jim SantelleThe topic of the Morning Show on December 12 was Eagle School. Staff from the school talked about the school year so far and upcoming events as well as their foreign exchange student program.
Guest: Phil NeeMatt Rothschild cohosts today. Starting the hour, some sports talk. Political news if often overwhelming, so we each have ways to decompress. Dom’s choice is usually to watch a game. However, Dom found politics creeping in last night as he noticed referees wearing Emirates’ badges on their uniforms. Doing as Dom does, he went to the Google to see what was up, and found that the Emirates were named the official airline partner of the NBA. This led to further Googling, where Dom learned that the 2034 World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia. Both the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have unsavory records on human rights. These events appear to be the latest in “sportswashing”.
At the bottom of the hour, we bring updates on the murder of Brian Thompson, who was CEO of United Healthcare.
We finish the show with a reflection on the life of Nikki Giovanni, an American poet, activist, and author who created extensively on themes of Black joy and social justice. For an enlightening experience, watch this conversation between Nikki Giovanni and James Baldwin.

Guests: Matt RothschildMatt Rothschild cohosts today. This hour, we’re covering current FBI Director Christopher Wray’s announcement that he plans to step down from the position in January before Trump takes office. Wray’s announcement is the latest act of obedience in advance, in direct contrast to Timothy Snyder’s urging to resist fascism. If he had an iota of backbone, Wray could have held his position- which lasts 10 years to keep the FBI independent from overt politics– instead of resigning so Trump can install Kash Patel.
