No big surprise that I forgot Voltaire's birthday was Nov 21. But better late than never. Just in time for your long drive to grandma's house, or if you need to escape your family on Thanksgiving please enjoy this 3 hourish reading of this Classic of Literature. This is Satire at it's best, and it's as relevant today as it was when it was written in 1759. Trigger warning: there are some unfortunate racial stereotypes reflected in this book, but we are all grown up enough to know that this was more than 250 years ago and we all know better nowdays, right? Right. Also, this isn't for kids, despite it's cultural importance.
