The Year is 1990 and wrestling still has a golden sheen to it. Ahead of Survivor Series 1990, WWE intended on debuting not one but two new characters at WWE's annual Thanksgiving pay per view. One would be The Undertaker who would go on to be one of WWE's most iconic wrestler and have a Hall of Fame career, the other, the topic of this week's Dork Side, The Gobbledy Gooker who would have a memorable debut and win a championship 30 years after debuting.

The year is 1998 and wrestling is in the midst of its biggest and most popular time, thanks in no small part to the feud between Stone Cold and Vince McMahon, the classic blue collar worker telling his boss what for week after week. After enlisting the help of Kane and Undertaker backfires, Vince finds himself in the hospital with a broken leg and a pissed off Stone Cold on his tail.

The year is 1999 and WCW is on the verge of a deadly corporate restructure, the effects of which would cause WCW to die a relatively quick and painful to watch death. Little to the knowledge of on Eric Bischoff, who has secured a deal with the mega popular rock bang KISS to work with them on a collab, staring in August of 1999 with The Kiss Demon. Unfortunately, we would not see Mr. Bischoff's vision to its end as his dismissal in September of 1999 would see the deal all but die before potential litigation forced WCW to get creative with a "main event" in February 2000

We're back for Part two of a our Halloween Double Header as we return to 1995 to watch the Main Event of Halloween Havoc 1995, the long awaited match between Hulk Hogan and The Giant for the WCW World Heavyweight Title, but that's not what we're looking for. We're waiting for the debut of THE YETI!

The Year is 1990 and pro wrestling is still in its golden age, well, for now at least. As WWF looks to lean on a new megastar in The Ultimate Warrior, so too does WCW look to have a new star of their own in the form of Sting. However, Sting suffered a knee injury as the rocket was strapped to him and time off was needed, however in an attempt to attach that rocket with a rocket of its own onto Sting, Sting would find himself associated with Robocop ahead of the character's sequel film.  The Grapple Guys Podcast's (@grappleguys) own Aaron (@soularoid) and Luke (@ats_2k18) join to watch in full for the first time Capitol Combat 1990 as Sting falls victim to the dastardly actions of the Horsemen and needs Robocop to save him. The year is 1995 and WWE is struggling to stay relevant for reasons that are in the ring and on their own programming. While Vince had a certified stars in Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, there wasn't enough. He needed more! He needed to attract the eyes of non-wrestling viewers, so he looked for the type that would stop a casual channel flipper, guys like Diesel, King Mabel, and Isaac Yankem, DDS. That's right Dr. I. Yankem.

The year is 1996 and Steve Austin is climbing the ranks of the wrestling world. He has declared the meaning behind Austin 3:16, he has called Bret Hart the Shitman, and in this week's episode, he follows up on the threat to come into Brian Pillman's home and drag him out into the street and beat him up. Unfortunately for Austin, Pillman subscribes to Handguns Monthly, what ensues is wrestling infamy.

The year is 1999, and Big Boss Man is a psychotic villain with no morals. After terrorizing The Big Show, Bossman turns his eyes to Al Snow, and his dog Pepper. Bossman infamously steals Pepper and ends up feeding Al Snow his own dog, which leads to this week's topic: The Kennel from Hell Match from Unforgiven 1999.

The year is 2001 and WWE has won the wrestling wars! They have bought their competition and found themselves with a surplus of talent but not the big names like Goldberg, Hogan, Hall, Nash, or even a Sting. So, Stone cold has turn his back on WWE and joined the WCW/ECW Alliance, who unlike Vince, appreciate his greatness. But Kurt Angle has beef, a milk truck, and a plan otherwise.
