Elvis Presley was a musician and actor who we shouldn't really need to tell you about, you should just know. Despite his professional success his personal life suffered which led to his downfall and eventual death in 1977. Despite multiple coroners reports his fans still insist that he faked his death and is still with us. So did he? No, but you might as well take a listen anyway if you've got an hour free.

There once lived a man called King Arthur who defeated not only a dragon but almost 1000 human beings in one sitting. Or did he? There has been speculation over the past several centuries about whether he existed, so the question is did the historians troll us?

During the 1960s a striking man with snazzy outfits a permanent grin on his face (hence the name of this episode, big duh) is said to have visited a number of humans and according to a couple of accounts these visits are far from over. Dorothy King and Louise Lawson were attracted to the bright lights of Broadway so they both moved to New York to find fame and fortune in the early 1920s. Unfortunately for them they didn't find the success that they had hoped for and met their ends pretty horrifically and neither murder has been solved. Was it one of their many lovers? Was is a gang of thieves? A random attack? Was it our Matt?

This week we are going to discuss Olive Thomas, a rising star who passed away in 1920 which led to one of the earliest Hollywood scandals. And Charlie Sheen, we talk about Charlie Sheen a fair bit.

The first two people to officially climb Mount Everest were Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay but there are some reports that say it isn't so. In 1924 there was an expedition and two members of the party, George Mallory and Andrew Irvine, could have reached the top. So who really did it? According to Matt it wasn't him because that would be an achievement.

This week the dorks place their derrieres on the official Sherlock pillows, whilst wearing snuggly Wallander socks and listen to Leonard Cohen. In addition we do actually talk, the topic of this episode being fandoms and fan worship. Are they harmless or are some of them over the top?
