The Hope diamond was first discovered many centuries ago and has passed through the hands of royalty, nobility, private collectors and museums. Throughout its four century long existence it is rumoured that it's use was not only to be worn, but the jewel had a second career as possibly one of the most successful hit men the world has ever known. But is this true or and embellishment?
