This episode is from the Patron’s only Facebook Group in March 2017.  Mark Whitman had introduced Heath Mullikin to this great angle from Memphis featuring Tommy Rich’s mom taking up for her son only to be interrupted by Jimmy Valiant.  Mark and Heath provide commentary over the youtube video in the show notes.  They also discuss:

* The small details that make wrestling story telling great

* Thoughts on James Drake(we were on the Drake bandwagon before it was cool)

* Booking independent wrestling

* Much much more.

This is the kind of content you receive when you become a Patron of the show for as little as $1 a month.  This now includes the South Carolina Pro Wrestling Behind the Scenes Report where Heath shares all the stories that aren’t making headlines yet on the Carolina independent scene.

On this episode of the SC Pro Wrestling Report I share about some thoughts I had after seeing the video featuring Hugh Jackman and the cast of the Greatest Showman.  There is so much negativity in wrestling and I guess my opening remarks on this episode are as close to a manifesto as I can get.  I also talk about the champions from the promotions covered on this podcast:

*  OSCW Heavyweight Champion Tracer X

* OSCW Intercontinental Champion John Skyler

* PCW Heavyweight Champion Big Country

* PCW Soda City Champion Kevin Ray

* Golden Corner Heavyweight Champion Jaxon James

* EWF Heavyweight Champion Cruizer Lewis

* 3 Count Pro Wrestling Next Level Champion Austin Jordan

* 3 Count Heavyweight Champion Ken Magnum

This Friday Mark and I discuss “What makes a wrestling expert?” and next week I will discuss the tag team champions from the area and where things stand heading into the rest of 2018.

I will be at EWF this Saturday night for their first show of the year.  Come join me!
