  • The Douglas Coleman Show w_ Bruce Blackman
Bruce Blackman -Singer/Songwriter Author, Producer, Keyboards:

Moonlight Feels Right 2014 is the first new music from Bruce Blackman in three decades. The album came about when Bruce went to his high school reunion in Greenville, MS. He wrote a song, "Jim's Cafe", for his reunion and made 70 copies of it for his classmates. When he got home two days later, he had over 500 requests for the song on Facebook. The requests soon turned into thousands. "I was completely surprised by this," says Bruce. "That's when I decided to release a new album." "Moonlight Feels Right 2014" features 12 new songs and 4 never-released vintage songs, including a new version of Moonlight Feels Right. "I came across my original demo of MFR that I recorded with a Bossa Nova beat from a cheap drum machine," Bruce Said. "I thought it would be interesting to go back to the root of the song and record it that way. It feels comfortable to me as a Bossa Nova." Stylistically speaking, Bruce is well known for his jazz-pop, keyboard infused style of writing and playing as exemplified by his signature song, "Moonlight Feels Right". He is considered one of the pioneers of synth-based recording. Bruce cut his musical teeth in the New Orleans based 60s soft pop group Eternity's Children. The group scored a minor hit with his song, "Mrs. Bluebird", and the group appeared on American Bandstand. Later he teamed up with marimba/vibes player, Bo Wagner, and formed the group Starbuck. His song "Moonlight Feels Right" soared to top 3 in the Billboard chart and became an international hit. Today, MFR is recognized as one of the top classics from the 70s.

  • The Douglas Coleman Show w_ Nick Fowler
    Nick Fowler:

Nick Fowler is an American writer and musician who began life as a musician while studying at Cornell University. In 1989, he moved to New York City and teamed up with Gregg Wattenberg, Michael Haar, and Greg Smith to form Tonto Tonto. After a few successful years, Fowler began writing for a number of major publications, including GQ. Fowler has published two novels. His first was released in 2002 entitled A Thing (or Two) About Curtis and Camilla. The novel received praise from a number of publications, including The New York Times Book Review. This novel was followed by My Virtuous Sister, which was released in 2019.
    About My Virtuous Sister:

The novella debuts MIA 20-year-old Welsh émigrée Peddie Smout, famous as a rock star at the end of the last millennium. Among the post-9/11 rubble, her younger brother and soulmate Nate arrives in holiday-season Manhattan in search of his sister. By piecing together the ragged index cards of the makeshift diary she'd secreted in a Grand Central locker, Nate unfolds the story of previous New Year's Eve, 1999, and the brief fame of songstress Cordelia Peddie Smout, who after seducing everyone in the music business only to lose her record deal (and gain a heroin habit), finds salvation in the form of Alcoholics Anonymous—or, rather, its star member: Teddy D, at whose "sober" New Year's Eve party we encounter not a few surprises.
While Peddie and Nate manage geographically to escape a physically-abusive, narcissistic bully of a father, peace of mind proves another thing entirely. A story of revenge, redemption—love and virtue.

  • The Douglas Coleman Show w_ John Edward
    John Edward:

John Edward has brought a fresh, honest and thought provoking attitude to the world of psychic phenomena. As a medium, author and lecturer, he has, over the last three decades, helped thousands with his uncanny ability to predict future events and communicate with those who have crossed over to the Other Side. Deeply compelling, often startling and occasionally humorous, John’s down-to-earth approach has earned him a vast and loyal following. In 2000, John pioneered the psychic phenomena genre with the television program Crossing Over with John Edward on the Syfy network. It was the first television show syndicated worldwide devoted to psychic mediumship and it would go on to run for four seasons. John followed up the success of Crossing Over with John Edward with another television program, John Edward Cross Country, which debuted on the WE network in 2006 and ran for three seasons.

John is one of the country’s foremost psychic mediums and the author of the critically-acclaimed, New York Times Best Sellers One Last Time, Crossing Over: The Stories Behind the Stories, What if God Were the Sun, After Life: Answers from the Other Side, Practical Praying: Using the Rosary to Enhance Your Life, Final Beginnings, Infinite Quest and
    Fallen Masters.

In 2007, John launched a digital network to deliver real-time content internationally, culminating in the creation of the online community, “Evolve.” Members of “Evolve” have exclusive access to view John’s weekly web series, “Evolve with John Edward,” which features member readings, celebrity interviews and assorted metaphysical and lifestyle content. The ninth season of the series will conclude in May of 2017. Additional benefits of “Evolve” include receiving a membership welcome pack, the opportunity to meet John at one of his live events, the chance to win tickets and private readings, access to John’s online novel, Above and Beyond, and more. John’s broad appeal has led to numerous tours of the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK and Ireland, a weekend takeover at Sirius Satellite Radio and expert appearances on Oprah, Dr. Phil, the Kardashian programs and Dr. Oz. He has also been featured on CNN’s Larry King Live, The View, Ellen, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Live with Regis & Kelly, The Early Show, The Crier Report, Fox and Friends, Maury, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dateline, ABC’S 20/20, the critically acclaimed HBO Special, Life Afterlife and a cameo appearance on NBC’s Will and Grace. He continues to be an in-demand guest on radio programs around the world. John has appeared in articles for the The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Newsday, Entertainment Weekly and The Associated Press. He was named as one of People Magazine’s Most Intriguing People of the Year in 2002. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, John exhibited psychic abilities from an extremely early age, and was deemed "special" by many in his family. The fact that he would uncannily know family history and
events that took place prior to his birth solidified that fact. Because no fuss was made over these early experiences, he maintained as normal a childhood as possible. Since Psychic Phenomena was so accepted by his family, it was easy for his abilities to flourish. John embarked on
developing his own abilities after an encounter with famed psychic Lydia Clar. Lydia made him aware of his abilities and told him his life’s work would be teaching people about it. That mission has been channeled into his work as a medium, which enables him to bring comfort and hope to people by reuniting them with those who they loved, lost...and crossed over.

John resides on Long Island, New York with his wife Sandra, their two children, Justin and Olivia, and their three dogs: Coco, Sydney and Lucky.

  • The Douglas Coleman Show w_ Camille James Harman
    Camille James Harman:

Born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised by her adoptive parents in Lafayette, Camille James Harman always knew she was destined to take the road less traveled. Camille studied liberal arts at University of Louisiana, and while there, took on the role of prop mistress in a local community theater production. From her vantage point backstage, she enjoyed watching the actors so much that she acted in the next play and garnered rave reviews. While pursuing an MFA in Drama at the University of New Orleans, Camille booked her first television movie, "Silent Cries,” an NBC ‘Movie Of The Week,’ opposite Annabeth Gish. The WW II film was shot in New Orleans, and it gave Camille the opportunity to perform with a British accent and begin building SAG credits. Legendary producer Brandon Tartikoff wrote a role specifically for her in a pilot project shot in New Orleans with actor Jim Gleason.

Camille took a hiatus from acting to focus on raising her now teenage son, and she has come a long way since her first credit. This winter, you can see her in the highly anticipated film, “Vice,” directed by Adam McKay, which is set to be released on Christmas Day, 2018. The film, from Annapurna, stars Christian Bale as Dick Cheney, Amy Adams as Lynne Cheney, Steve Carell as Donald Rumsfeld and Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush and is already receiving pre-release award season buzz. “Vice” tells the story of Dick Cheney and his rise to power as Vice-President to President George W. Bush. Camille plays Mary Matalin, Counselor to the Vice President, and counts her role as this powerful woman to be her most exciting to date. She spent many hours researching and watching interviews of Matalin to prepare for the part, and discovered that she had much in common with the now New Orleans-based political consultant. Following “Vice,” Camille can next be seen as a news anchor in the comedy film “Loqueesha.”

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6266538/

Camille currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband Jeff, who is a well-known astrologer, their son Aidan, who is also an actor, and their pet cat and dog. She is active in faith-based charities as well as groups that support veterans and first-responders. She looks forward to building her list of film and television credits.

In her free time, Camille enjoys visiting museums, listening to live music, and exploring historic homes and gardens. Camille and her husband Jeff are partners in a production company, Conjunction LLC, currently in discussions to produce several projects. Camille is passionate about acting, but her favorite role continues to be wife and mom.

  • The Douglas Coleman Show w_ Ron Galella
    Ron Galella:

For over 5 decades Ron Galella, the most infamous paparazzo in America, captured the world's movers and shakers using his iconic off-guard approach to photojournalism. Now he puts pen to paper, exposing his remarkable ascent into the world of glitz and glam. Dubbed "paparazzo extraordinaire" by Newsweek Magazine, Ron Galella was once punched in the jaw by Marlon Brando, roughed up by Richard Burton's bodyguards and sued by Jackie Onassis. His camera was focused on the best of them. The famous, the soon to be famous, the talented, the extraordinary. Actors, athletes, musicians, politicians, the rich and powerful, the beautiful and exotic - all those at the pinnacle of popular culture. His creative technique elevated the free-form freelance approach of fine art photography and demystified celebrities by catching them as they are. Ron was recently thrilled to learn that Grammy award winning, singer, actor and record producer, Lenny Kravitz was inspired by his unique off-guard style of photography. This month, while promoting his high end Dom Perignon champagne brand, Kravitz revealed to People Magazine and the Hollywood Reporter, "I was very much inspired by this book of Studio 54 photographs by Ron Galella who shot all those wonderful shots of the New York nightlife and so I wanted it to be natural lighting, inside, in the dark, with a flash. What I love about those shots is you had all of these very interesting people gathering from street culture - socialites, artists, actors, actresses, musicians - and he captured everything with his camera and flash." With "Shooting Stars" Ron sheds light on how his rollercoaster career brought him from the pre-war Bronx to working on the most important red carpets the world over. Included in this memoir is his early family life, his time spent in the Air Force and his photojournalistic career-molding moments at the ArtCenter School of Design. His comprehensive archive of photographic prints are sold in galleries on nearly every continent on earth, and his iconic editorial images can been seen in thousands of publications and websites worldwide.
