The Dr Boyce Breakdown

LeBron James just announced that Kanye West's episode on The Shop has been canceled.

Tonight, Dr Alicia and I review the movie Smile.   It's an interesting film about therapy and mental illness and we highly recommend you watch.

#Kanye is now restricted from posting on Instagram (actually, he's not banned, but his last post has been up for a while because they won't let him post anymore) because the people who allegedly have no power has his account taken down.   Will the Nick Cannon apology tour be next?  What's also interesting about #Kanye is that he generates about $2 billion in sales for Adidas, which makes him about 12% of their annual revenue.   So, Kanye's greatest strength is his ability to generate his own #BlackWealth, which comes with the power to share his thoughts freely without fear of being canceled.   So, whether you agree with Kanye West or not, it's important to take notes. This brother doesn't appear to be going anywhere, and a man who has his own money can always make his own decisions.  The Kanye West Adidas deal is another reason he can't be canceled.  Adidas would likely be harmed financially if they were to remove Kanye from their lineup.  Dr Boyce Watkins is a Finance PhD and one of the leading black scholars in America.  To learn more about Dr Watkins, please visit http://BoyceWatkins.com.     kanye west adidas beef

Hello, I hope you're doing well.

Today Kanye West had an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News.  I decided to address the conversation because I also had curiosity about why he chose to wear a "White Lives Matter" shirt this week.  I also wanted to hear his perspective on a lot of issues because I am concerned about Kanye's mental health.

Long story short, Kanye did an amazing job during this interview.  He told powerful stories about his mother Donda West and how she kept him from his father.   This appears to be driving the reason that Kanye is fighting so hard to keep his ex-wife Kim Kardashian from taking over the rearing of his children.

Personally, I would never marry a Kardashian, but that's the life that Kanye chose.

Overall, Kanye West's dilemma with the white liberal establishment reflects the frustrations of many black men, who don't feel heard by the left.  If you are not a woman or gay, the Democratic Party and those on the left tend to ignore or discredit your point of view, and I am glad that Kanye West is fighting against this form of horrficially insideous racism.

You can watch my podcast on the topic here.

There's a new video by the rapper Trina saying that you shouldn't have sex with black people who don't vote.

Today I speak about how Elon Musk's ill advised decision to acquire Twitter made money for myself and thousands of investors.  Overpaying for a stock isn't smart, but that was what Musk has been forced to do.

Today I speak about the White Lives Matter shirt worn by Kanye West.  There's a lot to talk about here.

Today we talk about the reports that Facebook stock is dying and also discuss how to generate income in this terrifying stock market

Today I speak with billionaire Michael Roberts, who will be joining us at the 2022 All Black National Convention.

Michael and his brother Stephen started with very little and are now inspiring millions of people around the world.  I love speaking with Michael, who's become a wonderful friend and is also a member of my adopted family in Ghana.

As I speak with Michael, I wonder:  Why don't we see bright examples like this in mainstream media?  While quite a few black men are setting excellent examples, taking care of their families, achieving goals and reaching amazing heights, America loves to highlight the dysfunctional.

In fact, Michael mentions during the interview that he once piloted a reality show that was rejected because it didn't contain enough drama.  This is what America expects of black people, and this is what our media tends to notice the most.

You can listen in on my conversation with Michael Roberts on The Black Financial Channel at this link.  You can also meet Michael in person at our 2022 All Black National Convention in Charlotte, NC by visiting AllBlackNationalConvention.com.

Please take care and have a wonderful day.

Sincerely,

Dr Boyce Watkins
