As a society, we have rapidly become accustomed to living decades beyond our parents and decades beyond their parents. At one point in American history, 50 years of age was “old.” Can you imagine saying that now, especially about yourself? However, as we live longer, we want to add life to our years and not just years to our life. As we age, one of the greatest fears is losing our independence because of losing our mental faculties. This week’s show will focus on different ways to stay mentally sharp, and in typical format, we will explore this quest through the four pillars of health: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.
