The guys also get into more reactions from the Cyclones getting by Northern Iowa by the skin of their teeth. Voice of the Cyclones John Walters joins to talk about what happened with Iowa State on Saturday, what they need to do to regroup, how the running back committee will shake out, if its a good time for a bye, a look around the Big 12 and Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma and Lindell Wiggington signing with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Reclaimed Rails College Football 3 Pack covers a Keith Jackson statue at the Rose Bowl UNI selling beer and a better slate of games in week two of college football before Ross' Roulette finishes off the show and Chris' idea of having an adult Lion King, though it sounds more X-Rated than R-Rated.

In an hour and a half long show before Cyclone Insider the guys spent most of the first hour discussing their reaction to Iowa State squeaking by Northern Iowa in triple overtime and why that game was as close as it was. The hour takes a lot of calls ranging from if Iowa State and Iowa should keep scheduling the Panthers to agreeing with Chris that KISS sucks. Then Rob Howe from Hawkeye Nation joins to go over Iowa's win over Miami of Ohio. The guys then end the show with a little Ross' Roulette.

The guys talk to Grand View University President Kent Henning before tonight's first football game of the season and he talks Grand View and NAIA. Then Chris and Ross talk a lot of college football including the Holy War tonight between Utah and BYU and how that's become such an in-state big brother/little brother matchup, the South Dakota State/Minnesota game, and Bruno chats booze. Then to end the hour Ross is reunited (and it feels so good) with Travis Justice joins to promote Sound Off on WHO Radio and tells tales involving Rick Neuheisel, Mike Leach, Craig James

The guys also break down the newest chapter in the Kobe Bryant vs Shaquille O'Neal, go over Nebraska fans beating heavily on the Huskers in Council Bluffs and Ross' Roulette covers Carli Lloyd looking to kick in the NFL

The guys kick the show off talking about the news that Oliver Martin was approved for his transfer from Michigan to Iowa and get Chad Leistikow in to talk about the impact this will have on the Hawkeyes and how soon that will be felt. They also talk about Brock Hoffman who was transferring from Coastal Carolina to Virginia Tech due to needing to be closer to his mother suffering from cancer and needing to be closer to her but was denied his immediate request from the NCAAs and Ross actually defends the NCAAs... sort of. Then John Walters joins to talk Iowa State football, Bruno joins to talk about Skol and whiskey and somehow we get lost in KISS sounding like Tom Jones and Jonathan Taylor Thomas's best Christmas movie.
