The Dudes of Sigmar: An Age of Sigmar Podcast

Northern Wastes GT is nearly upon us and with the lists leased today, the Dudes offer a no holds barred, no punches pulled assessment of list and team names. Just what everyone was waiting for.

Well, we are back from our longer than planned absence. We hit Warhammer World and chatted with some legends of the hobby while we were away, and now we need to get our head in the game for the tournaments this fall.

We didn’t have a ton of time to record tonight, so it’s mostly Roma trash talking me. Good times. Also rolled out a new intro. Whadda ya think?

Roma finally has 3rd edition behind her and we can both start having fun in 4th with all the cool stuff that arrived from Taps Games today. And the ‘name the gryphcharger’ contest winner is finally announced.

Holy cow! My first of 4th is in the bag and what an adventure it was. Manifestation stonks are up, but not for the reason you may think. Roma was busy finishing her final league game so my opponent joined me to talk about what our first impressions were. Hint; We loved it.

Well, the verdict is out, and the crutch kitties….. What? You didn’t think I was gonna tell you the answer in the show notes did you? Gotta listen to the show and feed the algorithm yo. Anyways, we talk Stormcast and Roma is, to no one’s surprise, so excited.

Ok, this is a special one. In this episode we chat with none other than AoS Coach himself. We get some thoughts on what it takes to meet your AoS goals, answer some fan questions, and generally get to hang with the coolest darn dude you are ever gonna meet from the land down under. Cheers Coach!

We’ve chatted with a couple other folks lately, but Roma and I were itching to get some of our mojo back and chat between ourselves. We also have a cool announcement about the next guest we are going to have join the Dudes.

Today we stick with interviewing folks we have met in our journey along the way, and today we chat with Gary from Dark Fantastic Mills. I won’t spoil the discussion for you, but we have a great chat and feel a little inspired to get my printer working again so I can print some more of his fantastic scenery. If you want to join any of his kickstarters or pick up some of his great terrain, check out https://darkfantasticmills.com/. You won’t be disappointed.

Well, this was fun. It is the first of what we hope will be a series of conversations we have with people from around the world we meet on our travels. Today with chat with an absolute Prince of a human being, Sancho. We met at LVO this year, and meeting him is the reason why I go to events. He an amazing dude, and an absolute gift to the hobby. Plus his version of our origin story is way better than mine. Joey, we forgot to give you a shout out on the podcast, so this will have to do for now.
