The Dworkin Report

Scott is stunned that a GOP Representative from north Florida just used his daughter in a horrible political campaign ad to push Trump’s racist wall and the lies that Republicans sell to their gullible base. Despite his insane campaign ad, Rep. Ron DeSantis is actually leading the GOP primary for Governor in Florida by double digits. But as we broke exclusively late last year, DeSantis is well known to the Russian oligarchs who donated big bucks to Trump’s presidential run, inauguration and legal defense fund.

Scott reveals the first of Michael Cohen’s secretly recorded #TrumpTapes which caught Republican candidate Trump discussing a felony scheme to evade federal campaign finance laws to funnel hush money to his former mistress, Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal through the National Enquirer tabloid.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo broke the Cohen tape exclusively on his new 9 pm nightly program Cuomo Prime Time. The Washington Post has created an annotated transcript of the tape here.

Scott interviews Bill Browder, the man who Russian autocrat Vladimir Putin called out in a global press conference in Helsinki at the Treason Summit with Donald Trump this week. The discussion explains why Putin is terrified of Browder, and the key role played by Russian Railways in the massive corruption scheme leading to his drive for justice after the Russian state but him on trial in absentia and murdered Sergei Magnitsky following a year of torture.

Bill Browder revealed the true the inner workings of Russia’s oligarchy and how the Russian dictator uses the wealthy men who stash his stolen cash, which is why his anti-corruption activism is so effective against the dictator.

Scott explains how Donald Trump’s completely improper invitation of Putin to Washington is actually a desperate criminal defense strategy. Trump hijacked the news cycle yesterday by embarrassing DNI Coates to make the invite with a proposal to bring the Russian president to the White House when accused Russian spy Paul Manafort – his former Campaign Manager – is on trial in Washington, D.C., right in the middle of the mid-term elections in September.

Scott interviews Michael Avenatti about the protest he’s leading in Washington, D.C. tonight right in front of the White House at Lafayette Park in the wake of yesterday’s #TreasonSummit. It starts at 7 pm. Check out #OccupyLafayettePark for details.

Scott talks about the fact Congress needs to impeach trump now.

Scott talks about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s damning indictment against 12 Russian GRU officers that will surely spread across the Trump Administration, campaign and universe.

Scott slams the California Republican who has been working overtime to derail Mueller’s Russia probe to help Trump. Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) is back defending himself in another House Ethics investigation, based on the winery business relationship that we exposed with the Democratic Coalition last year.

The House GOP Intel chairman Nunes materially omitted another one of his company holdings entirely off his financial disclosure forms. A Congressional ethics watchdog just filed a new complaint against the House Republican for that omission, and because of the tawny Napa winery which he part-owns has done a lot more than just the one business deal with Russia which it has adamantly stated was solely a one-off transaction.

The Nunes complaint asks Congress to investigate the Alpha Omega Winery’s high-seas sex party with underage girls on a large yacht off the California coast.

Scott interviews Ashtyn Tayler, who provides first aid to refugees on the Southern Border of the United States. She described the squalid conditions there, with recent immigrants suffering from unchecked head and body lice infestations, having gone more than 10 days without bathing in Trump’s camps, where they were forced to eat, defecate and sleep in the same confined spaces. Ashtyn’s shocking and detailed description of their lives inside ICE detention exposes the havoc that Trump’s zero-tolerance policy of contempt and neglect for civil undocumented immigration offenses is inflicting upon immigrants.

Ashtyn Tayler’s story raises the specter that we are witnessing in Trump’s crackdown America’s single worst violation of the 8th Amendment’s prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment.

This is Part 2 of her story.

Scott interviews Ashtyn Taylor is a pre-med student at the University of Texas who lives in Dallas and she used the internet to find an ICE detention center in McAllen, Texas called “Ursula.” Ashtyn volunteered and give first aid to refugees nearby that center and she told the Dworkin Report about detainee’s stories of ICE’s abuse of detained immigrants. She details the squalid conditions and her personal experience comforting a child with a serious case of the chicken pox, that caused panic among all involved that it could spread.
