Scott interviews Yemeni TV news anchor Khatab al-Rawhani, who explained the ongoing war in his home country and how his personal acquaintance Jamal Kashoggi’s murder and coverup are tied to Donald Trump’s support for American involvement in that war. Al-Rawhani was forced into exile in America after his station was shelled by government military forces in 2011 and then a few years ago, all media outlets were shuttered. Now, both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are fighting a bloody war for control of Yemen with logistical support and arms sold to them from the United States, but Congress never declared war and the American people have been kept largely in the dark.

She rose from humble Midwestern roots to become a high ranking staffer on The Hill, but she’s an independent now after rebuffing the Trump campaign’s overtures early on. Scott explains the pair of shocking new allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.  The New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer released a report revealing a sex assault in public by Kavanaugh at Yale, and new allegations from lawyer Michael Avenatti on behalf of one of his clients are even worse. Scholten, a first-time Democratic candidate for Congress in northwest Iowa’s 4th District which includes Sioux City, stretching from Interstate 35 to Interstate 29 in the farm belt, which includes his family farm. He is fighting to unseat long-time incumbent GOP legislator Steve King who’s best known outside the district for his white nationalist views. Tariffs are just taxes Republicans raised on middle-class Americans, and they are strangling the farmers in Scholten’s district, which he says is threatening to harm his state’s thriving agri-business sector for years if not for decades to follow, and he wants to join the House of Representatives to end the White House’s damaging trade war. Grant Stern interviews national security lawyer Bradley P. Moss, whose Washington, D.C. practice includes representing news organizations seeking the release of federal public records, whistleblowers and navigating the government’s security clearance process. Moss says that Trump’s announcement yesterday of a very selective declassification of the DOJ, FBI investigatory records of the Russia probe directly echoes the kind of abuse of power drawn up against President Nixon for Watergate.

Scott interviews former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti, who explained both that Mueller has means at his disposal to ensure Manafort’s testimony is “locked in” to be used against Trump even if he is pardoned and what will happen to the $46 million that Trump’s former campaign manager forfeited to the government if he’s later pardoned. Mariotti graduated from Yale Law School, then spent a nearly decade prosecuting crime families and white-collar criminals in Chicago at the Northern Illinois US Attorney’s office and is now a legal analyst for CNN We also discussed if and how Trump’s tweets could be used in a court of law and much more.
