The Eephus Baseball Cards Podcast

Bobby and TJ discuss how their collections are evolving and their future goals.  We shoot the bull for a full hour of mailbag questions from the Discord with no real agenda, and it's a ton of fun.  Meanwhile in the background, Fanatics attacks breakers and local card shops with a hatchet.  What does their crackdown on breaking mean?  (Oh no, they just put down a hatchet and fired up a chainsaw).  This was our personal favorite episode to record so far - enjoy!

Bobby and TJ dive into their experiences with 2023 Topps Series 2 which stunningly includes a train derailment, carrier pigeons and the Oregon Trail.  The Fanatics CEO brings a "Random" box of Sterling to futbol star Antoine Griezmann, Bobby has a new favorite set for buying singles, and TJ is a breaker now?!?!  Lots of mailbag from the Discord at the end!

Brian joins us to talk about his Ken Griffey Jr Collection.  We still talk about recent MLB and card happenings, but lots and lots of Griffey Jr.  What does the Yadi Guy think of this, and does Brian have more Griffey Jr cards than TJ has Yadi cards?

In a one cut with no edits episode, Bobby and TJ discuss the World Baseball Classic and our (extremely unbiased) World Series Picks after warning of the dark side of the hobby.  We each picked 3 players who we thought will have increased hobby followings in the next year as well as some honorable mentions.  We then took a deep dive into BGS Grading changes that really upset us and have subsequently been rolled back.
