I remember the first time I was really struggling as an online coach.
I thought that if I just posted more on Instagram, more people would see my content, and my business would start growing again.
So, I went from one post and a handful of stories a day to three posts and 10+ stories daily.
Suddenly, social media felt like a full-time job.
The really frustrating thing?
I was doing triple the work and seeing no growth.
It felt like I was putting in more effort than everyone else but getting even less in return.
The Shift That Changed Everything
What I learned was that the problem wasn’t that I needed to post more on one platform - I needed to post across different platforms so I could take my audience on a journey.
Instead of throwing everything at Instagram, I could:
- Post once on Instagram.
- Use that post to direct people to my podcast.
- Use my podcast to send them to a YouTube video.
- Use my YouTube video to lead them to a lead magnet.
- And that lead magnet would get them onto my email list.
Now, I had different ways of bringing new people into my world—without Instagram taking over my life.
Two Choices as an Online Coach
- You can go full-time on social media (if you want to).
- Or, you can build a marketing ecosystem that:
- Brings people into your world.
- Keeps people in your world.
- Makes you the obvious choice for coaching.
If you’re tired of feeling like social media is your full-time job, it might be time to shift from posting more to posting smarter.
And that starts with building a marketing ecosystem that does the heavy lifting for you.
