In today’s episode, just in time for Halloween, I interview Paul Wyld about his newly released book,  "Jim Morrison: Secret Teacher of the Occult. A Journey to the Other Side."

As this podcast goes to air, we have moved through the eclipse season, yet there is still lots of turbulence in the air. Ongoing planetary transits are continually activating cosmic energies, which in turn impact humanity.

A particularly significant transit is that of Pluto, the planet associated with transformation, shadows, death, and rebirth. Pluto has been doing a little “dance” moved into Aquarius and then retrograded back into Capricorn, leading to considerable upheaval and transformation in themes related to systems, structures, business, and government.

This transit encourages breaking free from traditional constraints and exploring new identities and ways of being.Expect a surge in revolutionary ideas and unconventional approaches to problems, as Pluto encourages people to challenge the status quo and seek transformative solutions.

Where I am, we are moving deeper into the fall season and noticing the days are getting shorter, the light is shifting.. the Veils are thinning.  An expression used in spiritual, mystical, and even poetic contexts. It suggests that the barriers between different realms of existence— the physical and spiritual worlds—are becoming less pronounced. Opening us up to increased awareness and sensitivity to spiritual experiences, energies, or insights.

it is believed that the boundary between the living and the spiritual is more permeable. It can evoke a sense of heightened intuition, connection to the unseen, or the potential for profound revelations

This also speaks to a collective shift in awareness. As more people become attuned to spiritual practices and consciousness, the overall understanding of interconnectedness and spirituality may deepen.

It is a time to explore your spiritual paths, embrace transformation, and connect more deeply with both yourself and the broader universe. As this podcast goes to air we continue to move through the eclipse portal of energy. The Solar Eclipse comes in on Wed, Oct 2nd in the sign of Libra.  Whereas the Luna eclipse was about pulling us out of our comfort zones, and releasing old karma, the solar eclipse is about stepping forward with a new sense of who we truly are. It’s about setting intentions to trust your higher self.. to connect with the wisdom of your soul.

The energy of libra is about finding balance.  Do you take time to pause and slow down.. or do you keep yourself so busy you don’t know how to sit still. ?hen we continually keep going and don’t recognize the power that comes from pausing, it can be draining.

Within each of is an inner strength that comes from the wisdom of our Soul. From my perspective, this Soul force is strong and embodies our individuality and core passions. It represents the essence of who we are—an intrinsic part of us that cannot be ignored and yearns for expression.

Many people think this Soul force, if it exists at all, is unrelated to our everyday lives. I think the opposite: to truly find satisfaction in our day and reach our fullest potential, regardless of our field, we must engage with and harness this inner power otherwise we will find ourselves drained of energy. Our higher self filters energy.. it helps us receive higher guidance.. but when we are too busy and drained, the information we seek becomes elusive.. we don’t trust the messages.. we continuously search and wander.

Allow the energy of this eclipse to guide you to set new patterns. It's the perfect time to step into your magic and embrace change.

In my experience, it feels like tapping into a wellspring of limitless potential that is continually rejuvenating and vibrantly alive. Rather than operating from a shallow layer of thoughts or strategies, I experience a connection to a dynamic system of energy and creativity that fuels my work.

This is the shift in humanity. This is what this Eclipse portal is all about ….from the full moon of this past week through the new moon in Libra on Oct 2nd. This is what is opening all of us up to.
