Sharing that you’ve been abused can bring up a lot of shame and it can also be liberating. In this episode I talk about what it’s like to live with an abuser — behind closed doors they’re one person and in front of friends/family they’re another person. It’s a mind fuck. Seeking support to untangle my codependency was the best thing I ever did. I learned how to create an exit strategy and raise my self worth. I learned to stop believing in the idea I could fix this person or that things would change. I hope this supports you!
