In 1 Kings 10:12 we read of the Almug Tree. I enjoy learning about the plants and animals of the Bible, so I was curious about this named tree. I learned that it’s also called the Algum Tree, and that no one is quite sure what type of tree it is. It could be sandalwood. Or not.

If you feel ordinary, useless, invisible, take heart! That is how most of us are. Even the heroes of the Bible were at first ordinary. And most of the believers who have lived since then have been doing the ordinary thigs of praying, worshiping, fellowshipping, and gathering. That is the ordinary Christian life we are called to.

In discernment, there are always statements, events, or actions that unveil the apostate. 'By their fruit ye shall know them'.

Rick Warren has been displaying clues for a long time. But usually, people are going about their business don't connect the bread crumbs of the trail leading to destruction. It is the people who the Spirit endows with discernment gifts who do this. Today's podcast shows one such bread crumb.
