  • 108. Express Tip #54: Focusing on Your Inner Compass

Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. This is the place where growth-minded entrepreneurs learn from one another, grow from one another, scale their businesses and keep evolving. This is our express tip about focusing on your inner compass. We are halfway through the year as we are recording this. It is the dead center of summer. Spend some time, quiet time, journal, do a pulse check - reflect on what this year has been like for you. What is your inner compass pointing you to now, what is the most important thing right now. Re-align and ask yourself what is important and what do you really want for the rest of the year. A recurring theme this week with our entrepreneur groups was the feeling that “I should be much further than I am, but that I am grateful for everything I’ve been through.” So touch base with your inner compass, give yourself some grace, reflect, and ask what’s important now. I hope you are doing well. I see you, I get you, and I’m here for you. Keep evolving, I am SO proud of you.

  • 106. Express Tip #53: The Process of Hiring

Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. For today’s tip, I want to talk to you about hiring. The process of hiring can be extremely exhausting if you do not have a strategic way to go about it. Often, as entrepreneurs the thought of hiring is so daunting that we put it off, and by the time we really need the hire it’s just way too late and we make a quick and or wrong decision. And if you are working with the wrong person, then you really can’t teach a dolphin to fly. Take some time before you go into the act of recruiting and looking at resumes, and follow this quick 3-step plan. Number 1, make the right job description. Often we fail at a hire because we get the job description wrong. Spend 2 weeks looking at what items are not getting done, what needs to get done, and what you or an existing team member is doing that needs to get let go of. Star which ones are revenue producing. Take the key words and form a specific and crafted job description. Number 2, have a step-by-step process of them going through the interview. What does it look like? And number 3, onboarding and training. If you want them to succeed in your organizations, you must have clear expectations and a process for succeeding to get them to the point of ownership and autonomy. This is often what I do with clients, I help clients through these processes to build the dream team around them. I offer free break-through sessions, schedule a one to one with me and share with me your story, business, challenges, and where you need help. Cheers, entrepreneur - I am SO proud of you.

  • 104. Express Tip #52: The Feeling of Growth

Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. Today is Friday’s Express Tip, where I drop a business tip in 5 minutes or less. So we talk about scaling our businesses a lot on here, and today’s tip is on the feeling of growth. So what does growth actually feel like? Well, when you are emotionally triggered in your business, you are agitated, things don’t go right, people and teams feel like they are “messing up” - that is growth! Every time you grow, a system breaks. Why? Because the process and system that got you to one point, won’t take you to another point, a higher point, in your business. So growth feels like that emotion, frustration, angst. Instead of being triggered in a negative way - accept it! Recognize that this is growth. It is a good thing that my people are asking me these questions, or that my business and process is giving me feedback to tell me that things aren’t working and it’s time to change them, improve them, make them different. So if you are having that moment of just feeling down about your business, or questioning something, look at it from another perspective. When things are growing and scaling you need new processes and new systems. Every time you grow, your system breaks. Continue to show up, swinging the back, and looking at things with that lense of where you want to go to get to your vision. You are doing it. These are the things we talk about in our mastermind group to hold you accountable, make sure you show up in your business, and think on your business so you can have “aha” moments on a deeper level within your business. So reach out on the link below so we can talk about what options are available to you. Keep evolving, Entrepreneur. I am SO proud of you.

Daniela is a licensed Aesthetician who combined her passion for aesthetics with her business administration degree to help spas and aestheticians with strategy, marketing, and strategic development for scalable and successful businesses. • 102. Express Tip #51: Going Back to Your Basics

Welcome and today’s Express Tip for The Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast is about going back to your basics. This is the time of year that you are often running in many different directions. This is exciting, but can also make you doubt yourself and what you’re doing or what your vision is. So here’s what I want you to do: do a word dump. Start to write down as many words that come to mind for you, about you, your business, your product, your services, your life, work, balance… Write down tons of words that relate to you, your life, your business. Then, categorize and group these words together. You will see some common themes. As you group them together, think about this sentence: I help ____ with ____. If you are feeling away from your purpose, this can help bring you back to that through this quick exercise. This is a great tip, and I felt the need to share as it was given to me this week by Megan Sumrell on the Entrepreneur Evolution Interview. Let me know what you discover, what you go back to, and what you are moving away from. Talk to me about it, reach out to book a call with me. You are doing a great job, Entrepreneur. Work hard, play hard.
