Renewable Fuels Association president and CEO Bob Dinneen keynoted the 33rd annual Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo in Minneapolis. In this podcast interview he talks about finding new markets for ethanol and the atmosphere in DC this summer.

More than a decade after the original renewable fuel standard (RFS) was signed into law, tremendous progress has been made toward its goals of energy security, clean air and boosting local economies, according to a new analysis by the Renewable Fuels Association, “RFS Impacts: By the Numbers.” The analysis comes as EPA is expected to soon issue its proposed 2018 renewable volume obligations (RVOs) under the RFS.

The Renewable Fuels Association is giving people a chance to win $50 in free fuel per day all summer long just for reporting prices for higher ethanol blends around the country. Beginning on Memorial Day, RFA is launching the “Ethanol Days of Summer” contest, allowing anyone to report the price posted for E85 and other ethanol blends just by being registered on E85prices.com and submitting prices any day, every day for multiple stations each day. Registered users can also download the E85 Prices mobile app so they can submit prices right on their phone. Daily winners will be drawn through Labor Day, and winners will be announced every two weeks.
