We’re often tempted to quit and walk away when situations become hard or painful. But believers are called to follow Christ’s example of endurance through hardship, and the Lord wants us to persevere because He’s promised to never leave or forsake us.

Courage can be defined as following difficult instructions in the face of danger and doing what’s right without turning back. Noah is a wonderful example of a courageous man who did exactly what the Lord told him despite all the difficulties that accompanied God’s assignment. We need the bravery to face difficult situations, admit mistakes, tell the truth, share our faith, and simply obey the Lord.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ...and My eyes and heart will be there perpetually.” (2 Chron. 7:14, 16 NKJV). 

This message is a word of warning to Christians. It’s meant to shine the light of God’s Word on the schemes and plans of the enemy that are devised for your defeat. All of us are, in one way or another, victims of a program wherein there are calculations and plans fashioned for our defeat.
