In our last lesson, we discussed Bible Prophecy. Today’s podcast looks at what we must be doing in the present. God wrote the Ten Commandments on two tablets of stone and gave them to Moses for his people. Though these are ancient laws, they certainly can and should be applied today.

 If you have wondered about your future and about what will happen when Jesus comes again, you will be interested in studying this lesson. We will study future judgments and the time of the Lord's coming. Even the angels we studied about in the last lesson are interested in knowing when the Lord will return to earth. Let’s look into the Bible and see what it says about our future! 

While the Lord offers forgiveness for all of our sins, it doesn’t mean there aren’t consequences for rebellion and disobeying God in the here and now. The choice is ours—life or death, blessing or cursing.

Humility is a vital key to receiving. It recognizes one’s own limitations and the all-sufficiency of our God.

There is so much more to life than just what our five physical senses can perceive. Almighty God is a Spirit and He created everything seen and unseen. In fact, the world of the spirit is more real than the natural realm around us. You are a spirit. You have a soul and live in a body. Let’s open the Bible and do some digging!

There’s really so much at stake in choosing to be obedient or disobedient. Let’s take just a few minutes to consider the place of God’s Ten Commandments in our lives in the 21st century.

There are beautiful cathedrals, fancy buildings, humble adobe missions, and tiny huts that are branded with the name, “Church.” Many of them have steeples, bells, and towers which in their own way announce to the public, “This is a church.” These man-made structures are churches in one sense of the word, but the Church spoken of in the New Testament is something much, much more.

This episode is all about the work of the Spirit, and how to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. How hungry are you for more of Jesus? He is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit. Don’t come to this lesson with a denominational argument but instead, with an open heart and just receive this precious gift! 

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Do you believe? This just may be your hour of decision.

 Sin is disobeying God’s laws. It is, in essence, saying to God, “I am more important than You or the Bible. I’m doing things my way.” But God has given us a way to escape the punishment of sin which is spiritual death and eternal separation from Him. The Way is by accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
