We will all face fearful situations at some point in life but if we yield to what we know is wrong, our lives will be filled with trouble. Therefore, we must consider the source of our desires, learn to discern the difference between good and evil, and have the courage to say no whenever something is contrary to God’s will and Word. 

Many people are deathly afraid of God, while others dearly love Him—depending on what they have been taught over the years. Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” Come to know the Father and His love through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ today!

God has given us instructions for right living because He desires our highest good. He knows that when we do not live according to His precepts, we hurt ourselves. Our minds, our bodies, and especially our spirits suffer. The best way to avoid stumbling is to follow His Word closely. Through it, we get to know God personally. We also understand that His ways are best for us.

The purity and consistency of our life isn’t solely determined by how we act. True integrity begins on the inside, with our inclinations, desires, and intentions. If your will is not aligned with God’s, it doesn’t matter how you act. It’s not a matter of your fluctuating emotions, but of where the affections of your heart are permanently fixed.

When we believe and obey what God says in His Word, our faith grows stronger; but when we let our fickle feelings and natural circumstances override our confidence in Him and His promises, our faith begins to become shaky and waver.

Christ-followers should have the same attitude that is described in Psalm 40:8, “I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart.” Yet people sit in churches every week without giving any thought to God’s will for their lives. Therefore, they have no idea what He wants to accomplish in and through them.

Throughout history, people have despised Him, rejected Him, loved Him, and even died for His sake. Two thousand years ago this Man walked out of a carpenter’s shop to begin His ministry and since then, billions of people have followed Him. Who exactly is this man, Jesus of Nazareth?

One of the Lord’s great and precious promises to us is His presence and power to heal those who call upon Him in the name of Jesus. Seek The Healer—Seek Jesus!
