  • Episode #14: Living The Dream

I hosted George Roberts III, Ph.D. on the Ever Forward Mindset podcast, where George discussed his background transitioning from data science to multifamily real estate entrepreneurship. George shared his expertise in data analysis, emphasizing current favorable multifamily market conditions, and the critical role of asset management. We also discussed the importance of strategic slowing down in real estate, the worst and best advice for investors (avoiding the "just keep doing deals" mentality and emphasizing perseverance, analysis, and adaptability), diversification strategies, and adapting investment approaches to economic changes.#realestate #passiveincome #financialfreedom #everforwardmindset #living #podcast #newpodcast #syndication #multifamily

  • Episode #12: Emotions are Your Mental P&L

We all have this thing called "Emotions"... A blessing and a curse.
When it comes to business and emotions, it's a fine line; What emotions to avoid, and which ones to utilize. Emotions can either make us irrational and scattered, or refined, focused, and driven.
The choice is yours, not mine
What is the outcome of your emotions? Is it making you profit? Or is it creating losses
In this episode, I dive into how your emotions are your mental P&L, and how to work with them and indentify them.

  • Episode #11: Strike While the Iron is Hot

How many opportunities have you lost...because you let the steel cool off...

    .

This is something I am guilty of each and every week, more than I'd like to admit. I have had opportunities cross my desk that I have said "no" to, and I regret it.

Of course, not all opportunities meet your goals or plans..that is why you need to screen these opportunities...but it's hard to tell what is good and what is not...

In this Epsiode #11, I dive into the importance of seizing an opportunity and to screen it before you say "Yes"...for all we know...all the questions and value you put out may bring you opportunities for the future.

  • Episode #10: The One Thing You Can't Buy

    "What time is it??"

No its not time to get a watch...but maybe it's time to start watching YOUR time.

I am an entrepreneur at a young age, because I respect time. I want to enjoy my life for as much as I can with my family. Each second counts. It does not matter how much money we have, we can never buy back lost time.

The beauty of time is the fact that we do not know how much or how little of it we have...yet we still take it for granted.

I realized this quickly. I started to mitigate my time and tasks to save time, labeling tasks from most to least important to utilize each minute of the day to my absolute advantage, and to make sure I take care of the following, and have time for; My future, My family, and Me.

  • Episode #9: Burnt-Out

Last week, on the 14th, I threw in the towel.
    .
    .
    .
I achieved burnout. Since moving and diving back into the business full-time, I have not stopped. Each day I wondered if I was making progress. There was doubt, confusion, overthinking, and more. I couldn't see the progress I was making, I was too involved in my projects to actually see my accomplishments and celebrate my small wins.
I finally got this opportunity, but the hard way. I stopped the clock at 5pm, 11 hours done that day. I took a moment to step back, breathe, schedule a week of personal time...and to look back at my planner and notes...and I was shocked to see where I came from and how much I have done. It was humbling.

  • Episode #8: Relationships and Systems

Since my last podcast episode "Yeary Reflections", I have learned quite a bit since making that episode. There is one mistake I made when I was a rookie in this field...you can't close deals without a system...you can't create a system on your own.You need people and systems way before the transactions. Provide value, help someone out, be honest, and be you.

Each day granted is a blessing. We have 365 chances. Use them well.

  • Episode #6: Profitable Lessons

Failure can be the best teacher.

Recently, I have ramped up my real estate game and ripped through the internet to find properties. I came across one in Texas, and while formulating a team and underwriting the property, time reared its ugly side, and I learned some valuable and hard lessons.
