Tyler has started training Mair for an upcoming action role. They discuss the physical challenges of acting, go off on a tangent about family and what it's like to stray off the beaten path, and talk about the benefits of being part of a generation that has access to more creative outlets. Oh, and Mair farts in the middle of the episode.

Los Angeles burns, Hollywood stands still. Tyler and Mair share raw stories of loss, hope, and the resilience that keeps artists and communities moving EVR FWD.

When the Los Angeles wildfires erupted, the entertainment capital of the world came to a standstill. In this deeply personal first episode, Tyler Tackett and Mair Mulroney of the EVR FWD Podcast share what it felt like to watch the city they’ve called home for more than a decade literally go up in flames.

From iconic film landmarks reduced to ash to local family-owned businesses lost overnight, the fires didn’t discriminate — affecting celebrities, working-class families, and the people struggling just to get by. Yet even in the destruction, Tyler and Mair discover something powerful: the resilience of community and the humanity that rises when everything else falls apart.

They highlight the firefighters, volunteers, and neighbors who stepped up — some crossing state lines, some serving from prison fire camps — all risking their lives for others. This episode is both a reflection and a call to action: a reminder that compassion, courage, and creativity can outlast any disaster.
